A young man who is a model professional who clearly wants to play football on a regular basis.
In regard to Birmingham City FC. Liam was offered a contract but unfortunately the manager departed soon after and his replacement had other plans!

He does train hard and is a good player. Nobody at CRFC would say any different. He hasn't caused one ounce of bother even when he hasn't been playing . I would prefer him to stay and fight for his place but its liam's call.

I'm sure he will play on Saturday. You need to get him match fit for one of two reasons either to get the best out of him for Cambuslang or to sell him. What have the other strikers accomplished that have kept him out the team?

Mcrobbie is very good from Cumnock, Gemmell played at a very good level. Love had a good season at gartcairn and has been pretty prolific wherever he's been in the juniors and Hewitt had a very good season at Johnstone. Very much doubt Liam will play on Sat. Would be very unfair on boys that actually want to play for CRFC. Until Liam comes back and tells the club he wants to fight for his place and stay or we get an acceptable bid it won't change.

All very well bringing so many new players in but think Liam is getting a raw deal especially when he did so much to contribute towards promotion...hardly surprising he wants away and although he's not one to complain I am sure this is at the route of his request.

Gormley has been great for Cambuslang in the time he's been with the club, but he picked up a bad foot injury just as we were getting into the business end of last season, which resulted in the club bringing in Gemmill, Hastings & Morton , all forwards, to get the race for the title back on track after a poor run of results.

This proved a masterstroke from Paul McColl as these 3 signings all contributed with vital goals & assists to eventually get the league won & promotion to the super first.

I'd like to see Gormley stay & fight for his place, but as dk said earlier , it's his call .......

I thought Cambuslang were lucky to win that one.

Cumbernauld had the better of the game and were doing all of the pressing but then slack defending at the back allowed 9 and 10 to pass the ball about and open the scoring and then later on 9 again managed to slot the ball home from what looked like an impossible angle to actually score from.

Into the second half and again it was United who were doing all of the pressing again with a headed effort ruled out for offside before a counter attack saw the substitute stick the ball through the keeper - he'll be disappointed with that one as they say, could have thrown his hat on it and he'd have made a better job than he actually did.

Robbie "played for Scotland" Winters then pulled one back for United with a header and Murphy rattled a free kick off the post but Lang held on to take the three points that on balance they didn't deserve but they scored the goals whilst United despite having all of the ball were decidedly piss poor in the final third.

3-0 up till the 90th minute where Cumbernauld scored a consolation from a set peice.
But Lang held on. Okay.
Another team "piss poor" v cambuslang in the final third.
Think that's been the story in every post match discussion on this forum.
Or maybe cambuslang defended well, took their chances and worked for their win? Probably not. 8 wins from 9 just sheer luck by sounds of things.
