Link: https://www.walkersshortbread.com/blog/post/official-statement-walkers-shortbread/ Text: Walkers Shortbread is a family company which has been established in the Highlands of Scotland for 120 years. We take great pride in our Scottish heritage, and we work closely within our community as a key employer for our area, Speyside. We have a dedicated and loyal local workforce of long term employees, and the family values of the company come from generations of family ownership. One of our key business principles is maintaining our manufacturing in Scotland for the long run and this is what we as a business and family strive for. The Walker family would like to clarify that the Union Jack Keepsake tin is one of many tins currently available, each of which is designed to celebrate an array of places and events and includes the launch of the Love Scotland Keepsake range at the start of the year. We strive continuously to offer a wide range of products to suit our global customer base. Looks to me that they've had a fair-few idiot Nats have a go at them. If P&B is in any way representative of how scummy Scotland has become I am not surprised. Edited March 6, 2018 by The_Kincardine

I googled "Union Jack Keepsake tin" from Kinky's post and found the picture at the ebay link I provided above. The same pic is on Walker's own site though
lichtgilphead
I see Walker's also do a saltire version though. Nothing like covering all these 'fleg' bases. Obviously, the Saltire version isn't quite as much of a waste of money. You get an extra 16g for the same cost.

SNP supporters tend to assume that the rest of the world makes this huge distinction between Scotland and Britian in a positive and negative sort of way when in reality if you travel the world a bit and live and work in other countries you quickly find they really don't and that we are nothing like as important or significant to people elsewhere as we like to think we are. topcat(The most tip top)
Walkers getting the maximum press coverage out of this slither of a story fair play to them.Personally I’ve been boycotting them since Nicky Walker’s frustratingly inadequate Hearts career.

You are drawing parallels between Scots taking umbrage over the design of a biscuit tin with a Scot murdering an MP? Have I got you right here?
