HibeeJibee
Kelty Hearts 2-2 Threave Rovers (aet, FT 2-2, 4-5p) South prevailed over East in this battle of the league leaders. Kelty took a lead early in the game but were reduced to 10-mean shortly before Threave equalied. Into extra-time and the Castle Douglas men took the lead only to be pegged back almost immediately. Penalties followed and the men from Meadow Park succeeded. Kelty have struggled in the big games this season - lost at home to LTHV in Scottish Cup; away to Spartans in EOS Qualifying Cup; and now at home to Threave in South Challenge Cup. Travel to LTHV next weekend in their first EOS League encounter.

newcastle broon
Vale v ww 2 postponements so from a previous HJ post I take it ww now have home advantage. Bit unfair to the Vale imo but where will the tie now fit in given the South Cup no longer takes priority over the LL fixtures? A real pain in arse now for fixtures secretary. Don't think it's always as black-n-white as that NB... where most or all card is lost (i.e. tie could've been off anywhere) it may be discounted, and last week literally everything was postponed. Peebles lost home advantage in the EOS Qualifying Cup earlier in the season but it was actually the only postponed game on both occasions so would be pretty open-n-shut. MAC THE KNIFE
would this mean Shire`s home game this Saturday V Vale would be off ?
HibeeJibee
No - before last season this cup had automatic priority over league games and would reattempt week-after-week. That's no longer the case.

HibeeJibee
There's been times when clubs have played back-to-back league games - indeed LTHV & Tynecastle play tomorrow and Wednesday - and perhaps such an occasion coincided with a cup-tie. Cannot recall an instance of playing the same team thrice-running in 3 different competitions in the space of 1 week, though.

Looks like the Lowland League Website put this through as the postponed league game as Vale gained 3 points and Cumbernauld have completed their 30 games???? It wasn't played as a doubleheader surely.
