Going to just claim the thread now. Went out to work tonight having arranged someone to buy something off us on Gumtree for 15 quid. Hardly a princely sum, but thats what was negotiated. Wife pisses and moans about the fact that shes to carry out this transaction which is annoying enough. It turns out that this utter chancer turned up with no cash.... Can anyone guess what the wife did then????

Pumped him?

Does this have a happy ending?

Said "Well, you can just have it then, no use to me!" And thus Bairnardo found himself in new ownership!

"Oh, you forgot your wallet? No problem, just take it and (don't bother to)pop back with the money tomorrow" ?

How can women take random obvious chancers like that at their word, when most of them don't even trust their own man to go for a quiet pint without pumping the barmaid? Mental creatures.

Apparently at no point was "come back when you have the money" or even "f**k off you absolute chancer" considered.

Just a straight up "I know we agreed 15 quid but lets call it nothing instead. Incredible
