beesher
She just cannot seem to bring a conversation to a natural end. If we are visiting family and we go to leave, there will be a further 20 mins of conversation before we actually stand up. Then about another 15 in the hall and ten while we are on the driveway. She had someone dropping off a gift for her, this person got up to leave and then spent 25 mins talking to her at the front door, door open and a draught coming through the house. Then I get called grumpy for pointing this out.

Yeah, have to say he’s just wrong here unfortunately. The infuriating partner is him, refusing to enjoy a phenomenal cuisine.
Bairnardo
Thai is by far the hardest cuisine to replicate at home IMO which makes Thai restaurants even more glorious.

The last time I had Thai was at a restaurant in Manchester. It really didn’t go down well and I spent half the night ill. Not had it since so I’ll maybe enjoy it this time.

Jimmy Shaker
On the train home yesterday morning. The following exchange of dialogue occurs. Upon opening the bag of goodies when I meet her off the train, there's no ginger and two bacon and omlette baguettes. 'You didn't ask for ginger' she insists. She did get yum yums, but apparently I didn't ask for them either and they're for her sister.
