Sauzee#4 Posted February 26, 2018 Share Posted February 26, 2018 I switched to a 4-1-2-1-2 out of necessity because of red cards, but I’m thinking about sticking with it now because Insigne’s IF is so OP after his upgrade. I can't be arsed with the online players constantly using any exploit they can find to get a win, and the very stilted play th at that produces, so playing the AI is actually producing decent matches. Tried it on professional level (because I'm still shite) and managed to get to the point where I was beating the top teams it was throwing at me (around 88 rated, I'm sitting at 76) with some battling performances. Reached Gold Level 2 I believe, and got screwed out of almost reaching Gold 1 thanks to the servers dropping me twice when I was in winning positions. Managing to pick up a few wins on World Class which makes a difference, almost a shame there isn't a human player on the end of it for the seethe some of the matches would have generated. At work so can't post up the nice squad screenshot that everyone loves, but currently going with a 3-4-1-2 GK: Gordon DC: Robertson/Tierney/Berra/Martin DC: Wilson (IF) DC: Arnason (IF) ML: Sinclair/GMS (IF) MC: Brown/Fletcher MC: Cairney/Armstrong MR: Snodgrass (IF) AMC: Miller (IF) SC: Dembele (IF) SC: Griffiths/Rooney (IF) I think I've pretty much exhausted every IF card that Scotland/Scottish leagues has, and not sure there's a way I can improve the team without going outwith Scotland and sacrificing chemistry...anyone know of a way? How many "outsiders" could I bring in without causing issues? I guess if I play Sinclair on the left (GMS sometimes goes on the right) then I could bring in an English IF without too much of a penalty? Another specialist center back would be nice too, or a much better keeper. Loving playing with the 3-4-1-2 as well - Miller, Rooney and Dembele are very good working together in that little triangle. Might play Dybala for sixty minutes then bring Insigne on the for the last half hour when defenders are slower. Do similar with Mertens and Gomez. I do the same with Lozano for Berardi. On another note, Hamsik is utterly class at CAM. Since putting him there he’s scored in every game I’ve played.
