1- Rule/policy call it what you like

You called it a rule, it isnt.

Apparently it is policy, however usually the policy is employed when clubs have an issue relating to competitive football, not because Celtic want to f**k off to the middle east on a jolly.

And dont give us the passive agressive shite about Sinclair that has f**k all to do with this situation.

A policy would be more formal than this, it seems like it's just a convention - the way things have been done in the past - and so conveniently, there is nothing written down for them to answer to.

Given the context this year, moving a game without the consent of one of the teams for the sake of non-essential foreign travel (they could have a training camp here), in the knowledge that spare midweek slots are very likely to be needed, is wrong.

And they didn't intervene when we asked you guys to go for a later kick off time as a test event last season.

2- Theres currently no rearranged fixtures to be pencilled in a calendar regarding Celtic or Hibs (or any other club?).  If that ends up happening then the fixture could well be changed again anyway.

When people talk of these two games in hand that Celtic have, it means that, at the moment Celtic have two fixtures to “pencil into the calendar”. After the 20th December Celtic will have three fixtures to “pencil into the calendar”. So that’s three midweeks needing to be used by Celtic. Given the potential for further fixture cancellations due to the weather, Covid, or whatever, you would have thought that the SPFL should be sorting these fixtures out for the first available midweek, but Celtic have just dictated that the first two midweeks of the new year can’t be used because they need to have a f*ck*ng jolly. I hope you remember this when Celtic are forced to play four games in the week before the split, because of potential problems between now and then.

Yes, great call.

IIRC the Dons wanted it, Hibs said they didnt fancy it, so wonder why the Ian Blair "Home team trumps it" didnt happen then........................

They're up to something, this makes absolutely no sense at all in the current circumstances.

I’d forgotten about that. Where were the “rules” then, Mr or Ms Gannonball?

Was that the later KO? was that not Ko'd by the police?

Hibs said no thanks - and Ian Blair said, erm nothing.

I am sure there is a rational explanation here that Merkland, Joey and myself are missing.
