No idea if we're both interested or if his agent is using Hibs for a better offer of us (I doubt it would work the other way around). We need an experienced CB who can lead the defence (in terms of talking a shite rookie right back through the game). Is Ambrose that man? Unbelievable at bringing the ball out from the back and solid defensively. He’s got the odd mistake in him but they were limited to when he came up against Aberdeen mostly. It’ll take him a month or so to get going right enough. If we are interested I don’t really see St Johnstone having much chance of getting him. I'm obviously seeing it from Saints perspective, but the Hibs link seems a really easy one to drop into the media during negotiations with us, to try and push things along.
