Why do you always lie?

After a quick Google, this came up...

Edinburgh Hibernian PLC went into liquidation in 1991. Farmer reconstituted the club. “The club was on the stock exchange only that one time,” recalls Farmer. “It came back into private ownership when I came along. But what I did, everybody who had shares with Hibs, I gave them equivalent shares in the new format.

“So if someone had bought 100 shares and lost their money, what they got was 100 shares in the new format – the original club people had bought shares in went into liquidation. There was a new club, a new Hibernian. These people may well still have these shares today"

You, me and several other posters did this nonsense several months ago.......and again a few months before that.

Frankly I cba dragging everything out simply to prove (for the third time in 12 months) that you are ;

  1. A liar
  2. Stupid
  3. Cant admit when you are wrong

It (like most things related to Rangers) is utterly boring and futile.

Away and play wi the traffic ya fud

The story in Sevco-land is that the original Hibs went out of business in the late 19th century (so we shouldnt have 1875 on our crest), despite the fact that clubs came and went and were reconstituted back then all the time, this is now a FACT down Govan way.

The second time - lets call it a Follow Follow Fact - is because Tom Farmer says Hibs were "bust" when he took over, then that means we must have been liquidated!!

Despite all evidence to the contrary - and that it might have been newsworthy that we went from being in administration to being liquidated - obviously none of this was reported (mainly because it didnt happen) but as STF stated Hibs were basically down the toilet, then this has now become one of their many comfort blankets.

I am sure there are a few decent Rangers fans out there, but not many have Twitter accounts or access to the WWW.

Fannies

But Greenday, it's not just a Sevcoland story, is it? It's the truth, it's history. Unless you are saying that Hibs Historical Trust are fantasists?

http://www.hibshistoricaltrust.org.uk/1890-1899/1892-new-beginnings

btw I see that the Trust now refer to it euphemistically, as "taking time out". Blunt truth is you were deid for a couple of years in the 1890's.  (But I do agree the 1990's thing is no big deal)

I'm starting to lose count of the number of times I have to point out that Hibs were never liquidated in 1991 and STF, god bless him, clearly misspoke. You've been linked multiple times to the Companies House Documents that are the actual undeniable proof of the fact that Hibs have an unbroken history going back to at least 1903 (unlike Rangers which has a history that starts in 2012), but you go back to the same old pants-on-fire posture.

I recommend making a note to get yourself down your GP to see a neurologist about Alzheimer's or Korsakov's syndrome or similar. There's clearly something amiss.

Not sure who you mean by "we"? The old Hibernians club (d.1891) ? The Leith Hibernians club that played just one home match? Or the current incarnation, Hibernian?

"the SFA concluded that the accounts of Hibernians were somewhat wanting but found they had no Club against which to pursue action"

I’m more than happy to be a new club.

Is the correct answer.

For all I get a childish giggle out of niggling your fellow Hibbies by pointing out Hibs history, the bottom line is, you're still Hibs. And Rangers are still Rangers to everybody ( except the occasional Lawyer/accountant/professional Celtic fan ) If we didn't see them as the same entity, we wouldn't care so much about beating them.

Dear me, you are obsessed, however you have still not been able to post the bit where Hibs, Hibernians, Leith Hibernian or whatever name was being used then - was liquidated.

Keep going, you might get rid of that wee chubby soon

the old guy that does the tours in the stadium told me it was bought from a receiver (a party representing a secured creditor), so not liquidated. Pet Jumbo and his wee chubby are prematurely ejaculating.

What's the significance of a formal liquidation? Some businesses just pack up, (particularly if there are no assets to sell) until Co House strike them off
