The Grass Is Greener.
Another break with Scottish Cup weekend coming up, feels like one of the most stop start seasons ever.

Aye, Steve Clarke was having a pop at this stuff in the BBC website. He pointed out that we have, give or take, a match a week and they are all weekends now until the season ends - but that when the weather was shite we had winter breaks and 3 matches a week. He called it amateur, and its impossible to disagree.

Derry Alli
That sentence handed to one of your supporters for the whole Tavernier incident is a bit extreme is it not?

Bairnardo
This is the start of serious book getting thrown at football offences. The lesson here of course is to invade the pitch with the safety of numbers. Proper planning prevents poor pitchy performance.
Dons_1988
Pretty savage for a first offence. Bad timing as he’s being made an example of.

It's a crazy sentence when he has a partner and kids and – up to now – no criminal record. All it needed was a fine and a ban from Easter Road.
The Grass Is Greener.
I think the sentence is completely over the top, especially if it’s a first offence. At the same time he’s a fucking idiot, why do that? Why even get yourself in that situation? He’s only got himself to blame.
Marshmallo
3 months in the nick for climbing over a wall is ridiculous. Community service and a banning order surely would've done? The guy isn't a danger to society.
bennett
Hopefully this serves as a wee lesson to those think that Sevco players are fair game.
Snifter Pee Rot
How dare that wee guy run on and kick the ball away from a Sevco player on the touchline, eh. 3 months in Saughton and a 10 year ban says some pompous gowned twat. That's the standard now though, you run onto a football pitch and your're getting 3 months from Lord Billy. -

Doesn't bode so well for any Sevco fans whose emotions, according to public on-the-record statements from Traynor and the Union Bears, are so febrile and highly strung that they have to restrain themselves from being goaded into on-pitch violence merely by having the likes of Scott Brown or Neil Lennon gesticulate in their direction. Assuming that this new-found legal rigour applies to everyone, that is. Edited April 8, 2019 by Aim Here

Birmingham fan who attacked Jack Grealish got 14 weeks. Equivalent sentence for the Tavernier thing seems a bit harsh unless the authorities have just decided that 100 days is the going rate for going on the pitch...

Snifter Pee Rot
The Sevco fan with previous convictions that assailed Scott Brown got off with community service. What is this about? -
