He'll be sadly missed.

His performance in the GMS rout of Hibs last December was one of the stand-out displays in living memory.

Don't get this Ambrose nostalgia. I can mind his MoM performance against the Dons last year and even against us last week, he conceded the ball which lead to the goal IIRC and his mistake put Clare through for the penalty incident.

Gauld could be decent but he currently seems to languishing at a small club in the Portuguese Segunda. Will the dark, dreich and 'robust' game suit him again after so much time away? We've signed a fair few duds from similar backgrounds in recent years.

There was a rumour on the Melbourne City forum last month (I'm tragic and wanted to see what they thought of O'Halloran), that they were getting MacLaren on loan and O'Halloran was headed to you lot.

Just sounded like a shite, join the dots, rumour someone had thought up, but maybe not that wild if MacLaren is actually headed that way

O'Halloran not in Melbournes latest squad and apparently been spotted on a flight to Scotland.

Disgruntled/out of favour Scotsman playing (or not) in the A-League who'd add quality in the final third you say?

Bunch of names going around online, most probably made up by some plooky faced bairn on his iphone at lunchbreak: Cian Bolger, Cameron Burgess, Shankland, Micah Richards, Tom Lockyer, Zac Clough, Graeme Shinnie, Corey Blackett Taylor, Marko Futacs. No danger we are getting Shankand or Shinnie IMO. Fun to speculate in silly season I suppose.

I can't see Shinnie signing for another team in Scotland, not even the ****.

Signing Morgan would also mean you couldn’t sign Scott Allan unless it was a permanent deal. Wonder if we’ll be sniffing about him then

Allan's in the last half season of his contract so there's no point in Celtic loaning him out. Anyways, we need Morgan to provide a better rhyme for 'Horgan' in the 'That's Entertainment' song.

Seems like some Celtc da’s are still raging that we didn’t sell them McGinn in the Summer for a pittance. Quite a few are thoroughly against Morgan coming to us on loan and want us priced out of any move for Scott Allan. Strange bunch.

Lawell plays the majority of their support for absolute mugs

Guest Bob Mahelp

Has there been any transfer window in the last 10 years where Hibs haven't adopted a headless chicken, panicked, scattergun approach to bringing players in ?

Each summer and January they seem to let 10 players go, then bring in another 10 (all world beaters apparently)....only to see most of them disappear somewhere then leave 6 or 12 months later.

Hearts as well actually. Maybe it's an Edinburgh thing.

That scattergun approach has won us the same number of trophies as Aberdeen in the last ten years (although ours was a big cup).
