St. Jude Posted July 29, 2017 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Impressed with Murray today, his movement is excellent and with his pace he could cause teams problems. He took his second well and provided a good assist for Murray. Should have scored a hattrick but blazed over, it looked like he had too much time to think about it. 2 goals and an assist though is not bad, remains to be seen whether he can do it against premiership teams though. I think Murray is going to be a quality player for us but I would be tempted to loan him to a championship club to make sure he plays every week in a competitive league. He could do with bulking up a bit and learning his trade against solid pros. His signings this summer look very decent and i'm actually looking forward to next week now. The thing I don't like about Lennon is he's an absolute ned who wants to scrapping with people on nights out. I don't think he is tactically good enough. I also don't buy into his jumping about like a fanny on the touchline act either, although i will make an exception in a fortnight at ibrox when we shag them. The style of football was my main problem with him last season. I know he said he wanted to make us "tougher to beat" and he did but we could've still performed to a higher level than we were and win more often in more style. The amount of draws were ridiculous.
