Stolen from the transfer thread lol.

So far we’ve been linked with Kallum Higginbotham, Anton Dowds, Nicky Cadden, James Vincent and James Craigan apparently.

Linked by who? And a 12 year old on twitter or looking on CTO doesn't count!!!!

Given the signings so far nobody had 'linked' us with those players, I'd suggest most of the signings Robbo will make wont be based on fans desires.

We're trying to get MacDonald back on loan from Hearts for next season. The two Pars players already mentioned in this thread are our other main targets.

Yay!  Higginbotham.  Smashing!

Really wish County would get their finger out and stump up the cash for Coll. Getting fed up of this transfer dragging on.

You do know that the transfer window doesn’t open until 11th June?  Anything before that would be a pre- contract agreement and I doubt we’ll bother with that.

Donaldson still has another year left so a pre-contract is a non-starter.

Yeah, there's definitely no talking going on between clubs over the transfer of players before the window opens.

Never said that, the point is they can’t “get their finger out and stump up the cash” before the transfer window opens.

Clubs can quite easily come to agreements over players / transfer fees outwith windows they just won't move until the summer / winter window reopens. Look at Hazard and Dortmund for an example of this.

Mascot???
More angry Kingsley than mischevious Sammy if you do.

Higgy is a player that feeds off the crowd and fickle Pars fans were latterly just not showing him the love. When he's on form, he wins games, if it's not working for him he's exposed as there's an expectancy for him to make the magic happen and bad touches instantly got the crowd on his case.

There is a player there, trust me.

He also quits on his team when he can’t be bothered. He’s done it twice in Dingwall - once this season - and he’s got a reputation with his previous clubs. For all the skill he has, he’s not a very popular player.

Usually lack of popularity with opposition fans is not a bad thing, as it means you're maybe doing something well?

I'm sure if he ends up at a Championship club he'll be a thorn in Dunfermline's side.

I was referring to fans of his previous clubs.

But yes, he’s a good player for the Championship.
