This is your opinion, that is all. im pretty sure the club wouldnt sanction his signing, even if maybe somebody asked him about maybe coming back. the way donald has spoken about the situation at meetings confirms this. if you were there you would know what im talking about. for the record i would have him but it will never be up to me. Always respect your posts Al. Yes, I missed the meetings you mention. Don't know what DF said then.

Cowden Cowboy
Have we only played two pre season games? 3 - 2 closed doors and one with crowd. The reduced close season and Betfred Cup groups means less friendlies will be played than in the past. The Betfred as the old League Cup sections did helps you prepare for League campaign but challenging playing full time teams in quick succession. Also difficult to assemble a full squad by 15 July and often loan players aren't committed until August.

TWO JOIN UP AT CENTRAL PARK The club is very pleased to announce that Manager Billy Brown has signed Matthew McInally, a full back from Partick Thistle. Matthew put pen to paper at Central Park tonight. He is a product of Thistle’s Weir Youth Academy and made his first team debut for the Jags in season 2015/16. Aged just 19, Matthew is a right back but he has also shown himself to be more than adept in playing in a more attacking role on the right hand side. A very warm welcome goes to Matthew from everyone at Central Park. Cowdenbeath FC can also confirm that Jim Moffat has been appointed goalkeeping coach at Central Park. Jim of course hails from Cowdenbeath where he was a pupil at Broad Street and Beath High Schools. Jim was just 16 when he was signed by Manchester City. His career between the sticks though was eventually to flourish in Scotland where he made over 300 league appearances for Montrose, Forfar, East Fife, Hamilton, Dunfermline, East Stirling and Albion Rovers as well as in two spells with Cowden. Jim then moved into management and took East Fife to promotion in 2003 in their Centenary season. Later, he also had a spell as manager of Forfar and was assistant manager at Montrose. Off the pitch Jim is a PE teacher – he was principal teacher of PE at Bell Baxter High in Cupar for many years and now fulfils the same role at St Columba’s High in Dunfermline. So now we say welcome back home to Jim.

big al
Enjoyed today's performance, well done. been a long time since we played so much football with boys wanting it to feet and decent movement and a bit of pace to the play. Plenty more chances created.

Kierkegaard
I'd rather have a team with some promising youngsters who want to play football on the ground and have a bit of fight in them than some of the shysters we had last season.

Feared for the worse when we went behind early but seems we had the spirit & guile to get ourselves back in as opposed to ho we were for large parts of last season. Syme I think will be a big plyer for us this season never prepared to lie down & accept defeat.
