This year there are decided signs of (IMO) a more sane approach to the length of pre-season among the clubs... In recent years it had got out of hand with 5 6 or even 7 weeks worth of games. This time around Gala are underway early again - this coming Saturday - but don't seem to have any friendlies announced for 3 weekends after that; only 4 more begin the first Saturday in July; most begin the second Saturday in July; but even then East Stirlingshire seem to be underway the midweek following, Stirling Uni the weekend, Edinburgh Uni and Vale the midweek after that. To date the only LL club with no friendlies appears to be Edusport. 'Gaps' are as follows, probably indicating games I've not spotted. Anyone?Sat 1 Jul ... Gala? Sat 8 Jul ... Gala? Sat 15 Jul ...
