I know in the past players contracts ran out but they still couldn't move unless they were bought ? The main difference between a manager and a player is that the player is registered, so even if he walks away from his contract he can't play for another junior club until his current club agree to release his registration.Mangers are not registered, therefore can go to another club and take up a post and it's just a matter of agreeing compensation afterwards. If they go up that will be the incentive.Playing in the second top tier will keep them at Dalmellington.
