Auld Heid
Congratulations to TC who today became our all time leading goalscorer with 274 goals and counting taking over top spot from David Blakie. To consistently score over 30 goals a season is some achievement. TC take a bow

It has been asked on their facebook page but they are very guarded in their reasons for not travelling. They were also deleting some of the posts, which weren't offensive in any way, so clearly something amiss somewhere. Given that the Rose hosted a game, it tells you that they wanted the game, and the pitch was playable. Even if this is against the financial interests of the Rose (low attendance undoubtedly, reduced pie hut etc etc), they prioritised football. Must have been Carnoustie's decision not to travel for whatever reason. Anyone know their current injury / absentee list? Credit to HoB for travelling with about 3 hours notice in order to play a game of football, and to the committee and volunteers at Linlithgow for being able to put a game on at short notice. Shame Carnoustie couldnt do the same with 24 hours notice.

Teams arranged friendlies on their own playable parks instead of a competitive game. Rose v HoB Was organised between the teams - as you say well done to both teams for being proactive. Specky
Yes but THAT secretary and manager are no longer here and the majority of the fans thought he was better than ok. I would like him to have stayed on. HTG

I hoped he would be an upgrade on Kelbie. He's actually been worse. Poor touch, little game intelligence, doesn't cover much ground. I've no idea how he got to play league football. Dreghorn
Malone used to be a decent player but no pace, ball control or commitment to the Rose. Should therefore do well at Cowdenbeath. No loss to the Rose. Glad to see MB willing to shift players on asap when they don’t fit in. We have a decent core of a side and this frees up a little cash in the form of wages to add to the squad. FuzzyBear
Fantastic entertainment from both teams. Rose denied stonewall pen in last minute.
Auld Heid
A game for Darren to forget - he was at fault for 3 if not 4 goals. What he was doing at their 2nd was a mystery - goal straight from kick off as hill posted missing. But everyone has an off day. Black Dug
10 goals, some of them crackers (KSH 2nd, 3rd and TC's in particular). Goalkeeping blunders, and a stonewall penalty denied at the end...Some game.
