He’s their poster boy. The one that gets international tournaments and champions league games. There’s no danger anything would come of a ‘quiet word’ or a full blown statement. An absolute waste of time. He’s not biased, he’s just a horrible referee.

Oh, I agree, but look at the Porteous handball. If Collum isn't going to call that, either because he doesn't think it is a penalty (and it is) or that he missed it (equally possible) I think it's right we say to the SFA "you see that? Ok, you did. We were just making sure you saw what went on there." and leave it at that.

Was interesting to hear Craig Fowler on the Terrace podcast say that it was Ann Budge that offered Zlamal to us rather than us asking

They need the cash. Going balls deep with their relegation challenge wasn't very successful businesswoman business from successful businesswoman Anne Budge.

Did he mention where he'd heard that?  As I hadn't seen it mentioned on kickback, and I assumed they'd be having even more of a meltdown than normal. Would listen to it, but it looks like you have to pay for it

So... Urminsky, then.

He's fit, and now available. Goodwin was 'happy' to use him against Hibs once Alnwick and Lyness were ruled out. Should he start against Celtic?

I'm on the fence here. For one, I don't necessarily think the choice of keeper will decide the outcome of this game. I'm keen for the lad to get his chance, and I'd rather one of our own be in goals as it will hopefully help with his development. If he doesn't get a chance here, when will he get it? Cup games? You'd expect Lyness to be given the nod just to keep him keen come the Bet Fred, now seems like the only time Urminsky will be our only available (club) keeper.

On the flip side, a trouncing won't do his confidence any good, and we all know that keepers of all positions thrive on confidence. Celtic are capable of throwing in 5 or more on a whim depending on how they feel and while we'll be able to field our full strength backline (Fraser, Shaughnessy, McCarthy, Tait) we've all seen how they need a solid keeper behind them to mop up any mistakes they make. At least Zlamal will have had experience playing Celtic and more experience over all. Would it seem a bit shitty to get a loan keeper then not play him? Clearly Hearts did us a favour (much to the glorious chagrin of their support) by loaning him to us, and I guess it's on the basis he would get a game not just sit on the bench.

It's heart over head for me here. My hearts wants Urminsky to get the chance (and in true romantic Roy of the Rovers style, play a blinder against a much stronger team), but my head suggests we play it safe, stick him on the bench and let Zlamal take the hit that is most likely coming.

Yeah, I'd stick with Zlamal. If we play like we did in patches on Saturday this could be very, very bad. So let the loanee take the goals against.

Yeah, I’d maybe give Urminsky the game at the weekend and let Bobby take the beating on Wednesday...

I'd play Urminsky. He's our player and if he's available he should be used. What kind of message does it send if an emergency loan goalkeeper - who isnt very good in reality - blocks his pathway to the first team? This is as good a chance as any for him to show he's first team standard.

Unfortunately, and not that I think this would happen, but if you go to Celtic Park and concede 7 or 8 then it could be your career over depending on your own mental strength.

Well, they said he was "one for the future". Who knew that they were just missing the word 'dystopian' from that sentence?

The game is not at Celtic Park. We've played Celtic home and away with far poorer squads over the years and never conceded 7 nor 8.

His career wouldn't be over if he conceded multiple goals versus Celtic.  I'm sure he'll be fine.

I'd personally put in Urminsky regardless. He is part of the set-up of 3 goalkeepers for a reason. This is an emergency and he needs to move up the pecking order when called upon. I have never rated Zlamal and I would rather we used one of our own in the next game. Zlamal is off back to Hearts after tomorrows game, so why not?
