That's my ticket in.

They are having a fucking laugh, need to enter the ground at 6:15 for a 7:45 kick off. Completely ridiculous, there's only 500 fans FFS.

Definitely ott. Now glad I didn't bother entering the ballot.

😂

Literally got to be in for the length of a game before the actual game. In a country where no beer is served in grounds. Ridiculous just about covers it.

I’m 7.15 and happy with that. I was 5.30 for the Ukraine game and was about the 4th person in the ground.

The slots were totally ignored at Hampden and no one batted an eyelid. Just go when you normally would.

Two weeks ago I flew from Glasgow to Heathrow on a BA Airbus, capacity approx’ 150 people. Made the return journey a couple of days ago. Both flights rammed, sold out. Three seats - aisle - three seats. Normal queuing experience, normal boarding experience, normal onboard experience bar, naturally, the wearing of facemasks, without which we would all surely have died. Anyway…Flight departed 12.15. 150 strangers cheek by jowl in a tin can. None of us were asked to check in at 9am, 10am, and 11am. We all survived… as far as I’m aware.

At what point are we going to stop being treated like fucking children by this arsehole government and/or the wankers running Scottish football?

It’s beyond a joke. A sick fucking joke. 500 people in an outdoor 7,500 capacity stadium. Get a fucking grip.

It's 1 steward taking all 500  straight to their assigned seat 1 at a time

Jim in the Herald today:

  • Dumbarton game was replaced with an internal 11 v 11 match on Saturday
  • Up to staff / players as to whether they get vaccinated or not
  • Believes the C19 protocols need to change so that only positive cases require to self-isolate; PCR test for close contacts
  • Will probably be "a few weeks" before another signing is made

If this is true, why? Even if it’s posted for a laugh (it could be true though, nothing surprises me anymore!)… I go back to my British Airways point, this was only two or three days ago. No-one needed to check in at different times for the flight. 150 people in an enclosed space, packed in as normal. There were no empty seats on the aircraft. No seats unused and taped off. No reduction in capacity. No-one escorted us one x one to a seat. I could give many, many examples, even from the last two weeks spent on holiday in Eng (it’s not coming home) Land, in big hotels, at the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, at Stonehenge, in pubs and restaurants - where we aren’t treated like shite. There were 6,500 fans at that outdoor Fanzone in Glasgow, yet only 500 in another outdoor setting tonight?

Where is the true justification for any of this? On what grounds are only 500 souls allowed in to watch a football match? Football fans in Scotland certainly, are bring treated like mugs while travellers, thousands of shoppers entering big malls like Braehead etc, and people in many other situations, simply aren’t any more

Why, on a flight out of a Scottish airport, a mile away from St Mirren Park itself, is it OK for normality, because it was a completely normal flying experience, to exist, while tonight, one mile away from that airport in an outdoor setting… ?

We’re being treated with complete and utter contempt by the arseholes in Holyrood.

It was tongue in cheek, but as you say ,nothing surprises anymore

Do you know how many people on those packed flights, or at the Spinnaker Tower, or Stonehenge subsequently contracted Covid-19?

Nope. Do you know how many of the 60,000 in Wembley did? Do you know how many who visited Silverburn or Braehead this week did? Do you know how many who watched the Belfast bonfires did? Do you how many of the hundreds and hundreds who visited the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel or anywhere did?

Answer the point. You might think it’s wrong, you may not want to get on a plane, but the BA flight out of Glasgow operated normally. Completely. Why is an outdoor venue a mile away, in a far safer setting, not allowed to operate anywhere even approaching normality?

Do you have a minimum word count you need to hit before it'll let you post anything?

Nearly 18 months away from the stadium, 500 lucky fans have been chosen to finally attend a game and can still find something to moan about.

A truly mental club. Never change.

Ohh don’t worry, check our thread and you’ll see you’re not alone in this!

I'm complaining because people still have no idea when they've to even be at the ground, because the club have fucked up sending out emails, and its less than 8 hrs before kick off. Groups who ordered season tickets through the same email address won't even know which one of them even has a ticket yet.

It's embarrassing.
