Erhahon getting rave reviews across the board for his Lincoln debut yesterday. Picked up MotM.

Fans rating from one of their forums...

Erhahon. 7.5. Strong and powerfull with great left foot deliveries at set pieces, just what we need. Nothing outstanding but consistently reliable with possession. Took the ball in tight positions and held of challenges with strength and skill. Early call but think League One left footed Jude Bellingham

Erhahon - 9 - MoM. Just edges House but on the basis of his overall impact on the team’s performance. Such control, robustness and some superb passing. What we’ve been missing since Bridcutt, but an upgrade on this performance.

Erhahon- 9 What a player so self assured, another Virtue type player that we needed, no worries with this guy as Bishop worked so hard.

They certainly seem to like him!

I see Morecambe, the job Robinson left for us, is in the process of being taken over by a 20yo entrepreneur.

Say what you will about fan ownership, and I am not saying a 20yo will act any more erratically than some 60yo just that the erratic nature will be different, but the idea one individual being in control of the club, and one who has no experience of running a football club seems like a recipe for disaster.

I mean fair play to the lad, this isn't a dig at him, he's made a success for himself and you could argue that a younger person will likely connect to fans more, rather than some 'stuffy old suit', but it feels like a massive gamble imo.

Social media is awash with the opinion that guy is a complete fraud. On your point, though, collective ownership is definitely best.

It feels great to be sitting in the stadium with a decent crowd.  The extra revenue is also welcome.

We really are punching above our weight with such a small squad.

Are the crowds not higher (especially in family stand) due the excellent community initiatives that have increased this last 18months?

Ultimately the club bean counters will know the actual increase in revenue.

Where there has most definitely been an increase is in the W6/7 areas of the ground.

It is great to see more seats in use. Long may it continue.

With that one boy converting, it's worth it. There must be more like him too.

Back in the summer, 4 season tickets were given to each of Renfrewshire's 50 primary schools. They then distribute them for each home game however they see fit.

From that initiative alone, per season, you're probably introducing 1000+ local kids (and presumably the same number of parents/carers) to St Mirren. Even if only a fraction of them come back.....

A great way to grow the support.

And w6/7 is where this lad will end up hopefully bringing more friends with him.

Reminds of the impact that the feel good factor of Fergie-Clunie etc had on the NB in the late 70s early 80s.

Long May it continue

When you consider that during that era Saints had the following players capped by Scotland:

Billy Thomson 7 caps

Iain Munro 7 caps

Peter Weir 4 caps

All won the Anglo Scottish cup and were key players in our highest ever league finish and helped us into Europe.

Only one player has received a Hall of Fame award. Thankfully it was Billy last year.

It would be great if the club could seek out Iain and Peter.

RIP Billy.

I will cherish the memories from that Anglo Scottish cup run in 1980 and particularly the away tie at Bolton. Big Billy was a tremendous keeper for us along with Campbell money as they both pushed for the number 1 spot. How very sad to see his passing at only 64 years of age. RIP Billy so glad that you received that hall of fame induction recently.
