There was a Paisley Celtic FC? I have just done a quick Google search and found very little. Is anyone able to shed some light on this - where they played, colours (presumably green is one of them), etc.

I love reading about old clubs, which sadly dissolved:

Dumbarton Harp - http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Scottish_Football_League/Dumbarton_Harp/Dumbarton_Harp.htm

Northern FC - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_F.C.

Galston FC - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galston_F.C.

and Paisley's other club:

There was also a St. Mirren FC junior side as well in maybe the 50s which I found quite interesting.

I’ve resigned myself to us losing Erhahon and Baccus is the near future. If they were both sold in the January window though that’s be an absolute disaster for us.

Ready made replacements in Gogic and Kiltie with plenty of cash to find the next Baccus, Strain, Ayunga….

It's an excellent point. Gogic-Kiltie-O'Hara is a far from disastrous trio in the middle. Kiltie did well when Baccus was out 'injured' just before the WC.

If we did lose Baccus and Erhahon in January, fair enough that Kiltie and Gogic are good players, but it weakens our squad, weakens our bench, restricts Robinson’s choice of starting XI, restricts his ability to change things during a game, and in the event of injury or suspension, really hurts us.

I do agree with the basic point that Gogic & Kiltie are good though, but it would absolutely hurt us if we lost Baccus & Erhahon in January.

Just for clarity, absolutely agree with all that, and I'd be demanding instant replacements being brought in. I just think it's good that we're not resorting to fielding players from the youth team if those two guys do depart.

But yeah, no way should we be trying to see the season out without replacing at least one of Baccus and Erhahon, if they go.
