Absolutely not interested in us going for Mitch Rose.

Any budget that we have left should be focused primarily on attackers. If we do have anything left, we should then be going for defensive cover.

If Sheron is injured, Ethan Erhanon should be given his chance instead of bringing in another body.

Really? We now have 5 defenders, 3 of whom can play anywhere in the back 5 plus McPherson who can cover at FB, with Flynn to come in when fit.

A striker has to be the priority.

Think you will find the first port of call mentioned was on attackers i second defensive cover after that i don't want players that cover anywhwere across the back unless last resort i want specialist players for their positions

Indeed, for some reason I focused on the "anything left" bit.

No worries, but yeah only 5 defenders when we play a back 4 every week is still concerning. Remember how much we were shiteing it before the Killie game that never happened because of shutdown. We'd lost pretty much most of the defence. It wouldn't take much for that to happen again.

I'd rather never have to witness MacPherson or Erhahon being made to look like lesser players by being played at full-back again so for that reason, my own personal priority list would be:

Striker
Forward/number 10 type
LB cover
CB cover

That doesn't mean I think we'll sign 4 more players, we'll be lucky if we get 2 more in but that's how I'd be laying down my priority positions.

Mitch Rose shouldn't be on the radar at this point and probably isn't in reality.

I took special interest in Mitch Rose when watching Notts County live when the commentator said he had knocked back St Mirren.  I seen nothing stand out in the player . Granted it was one game but an important game one that would take them to the play off's. It was the Notts County forward  Robert's who caught my eye.  Rose gave away poor passes just looked nothing special.  Today I checked Notts County forum the majority seem to think he would be easily replaced.  Not many but a few fans said he works hard but easily replaced.  If that is the standard of the Scottish premiership then it must be very poor. Intresting read on their forum.

I presume, if people knew, it would have been mentioned already but is Sheron still with us and uninjured? I cannot imagine us going for Rose if he is. As said, there are other positions we could do with adding to.

Nothing mentioned despite him not even making the bench for us on Saturday.

Which was an odd one, it suggests he was either injured or simply not match fit. For the former you'd expect someone to have reported it. Perhaps it was a personal thing and he needed to return down to the road for some reason, again you'd maybe hear something about that.

All in all, we have a fairly small squad and the upcoming OF double header was (imo) the sort of games Sheron was brought into the squad for.

Looking at Sheron's appearances on Wikipedia he's made 26 for Fleetwood over 4 years and a handful on loan for a couple of different non league teams. It's certainly possible that he's just not quite ready to play and needs some time to get up to speed.

I wonder if Greg Stewart is available now Sevco have signed a couple of strikers?

I hope we at least ask the question of his availability. I'd much rather him on loan than Bayo from Celtic (which appears to be dead now anyway)

How was Alex Jakubiak for you? Soften the blow of losing Hemmings? Good link up with Mullen?

Was starting to form a decent partnership with Obika but never looked like an out and out scorer. We've been talking to him but it appears his wage demands are unrealistic.
