That's an interesting one, good player to have around, but other than covering for RB/LB I can't really see any other place for him in this new Goodwin formation. Are Tait and Millar just cover now? Neither are really ideal at going forward but both have players ahead of them in the defensive positions.

Other than 1 player who can cover both full back positions……………….what have the Romans done for us? 😛

Club is going to have to take a serious think about the no policing policy in games like tonight's. The stewards were utterly pitiful trying to maintain the buffer zone in the Motherwell end. At that point ie pre k.o. police should have been called as it was then just a matter of needing a spark to provoke the pathetic scenes we saw after the equaliser.

This morning, I thought our dealings looked decent and squad in a good place.

However, after that performance and looking at our options from the bench, is it? Will we Hail Mary a free agent striker now that Brophy is injured?

To be fair, i don't think anyone could have predicted a bunch of wee fannies from Lanarkshire launching a pitch invasion after a last minute equaliser in a midtable clash on a cold Tuesday night in February.

Doesn’t loook good for Brophy, could be a couple of months.

There was a minibus full of cops sitting chatting at the corner between the West and Away stand while the fannies inside were squaring up.

It's all too familiar for this fixture these days, for whatever reason, both at St Mirren Park and Fir Park.

Eh, as soon as they breached the segregation zone (before ko) it was obvious there was potential for trouble. At that point the stewards should have called for a police presence.

As an aside. When an ex-Chairman passes, you’d think the club he served would have had a minute’s silence prior to their first home game following his passing… or maybe even made mention of it on their website… by now.

Pretty disastrous if as bad as it seems. Absolutely no chance we can operate with Grieve and Erwin. Absolutely ridiculous that we are in this state a day after the window closed. It seems we offloaded Dennis simply because we couldn't shift Erwin. No idea how Jim thinks an injury prone Brophy, a disinterested Erwin and a young boy with no 1st team starts were going to see us through to May never mind score enough goals to keep us out a scrap.

We still have Main.
