Unfortunately, for one reason or another, he's just not good enough for the top flight. Hopefully he does well there. From what I recall seeing of JJ when he was at Killie, he was quality. Sortmeout Posted January 31, 2022 Share Posted January 31, 2022 Great signing for St Mirren. He’ll be a bit hot and cold but on his good days will win you 3 points (or penalties) on his own. It makes sense for St Mirren to sign a lot of the players (Kiltie aside) who were part of our side under Steve Clarke. Clarke was almost solely the single reason that team did well but the players were part of it too so to have players like Power, Brophy and now Jones who were top performers in that team I don’t think is a bad route to go down at all.
