Names?Looking slightly better now. Coys

Not even heard a hint of a name, just as no-one had heard a hint of Dreyer.

Interesting that Brighton shelled out £2m for Dreyer back in the summer. It's not a great deal in English top light terms but still a pretty significant amount.

Should we be worried that Conor Sammon hasn't made the bench for Motherwell today?

I think he'd do fine for us, and would certainly improve our forward line.

We seem to have a few options on the wing now.

Get the ball into the box and hope the big striker fires them in.

Of course I'd like better, but we are where we are.

Thing is, his record at Thistle last season was actually OK with 7 league goals in 21 starts.

He'd maybe be decent foil for a more mobile forward. Still feel we need two centre forwards though as Jackson and Cooke just don't fill me with confidence at this level.

Tansey and McGinn as the midfield platform, Dreyer, Lyons and McAllister in front with licence to push forward, and Jackson or new striker (or Cooke, I guess) up top. Real shame the Marec didn't pan out, I really liked the idea of a mobile beanpole up front.
