Somewhere, Jim Goodwin is screaming 😂

Probably had Mason down as his top LB target at the start of the window and someones just gone ahead and done the deal without bothering to check if hes injured or not.

Definitely wasn't his top target.

Junior Brown was and was set to sign but for some reason the club backed down.

Wonder if he smashed the tv when he seen the yellow bar announcing it. If he wasn't tempted to walk before being mugged off over Magennis...

Edit:

Same as above.

Surely we haven’t signed a player that’s injured for 6 - 8 weeks

Be thankful you have. Was bloody useless for United in the Championship, also if stories are to be believed had a bit of an attitude issue.

Maybe his release by Watford and not making it at United was a kick he needed as he was supposed to be highly thought of at Watford. Just signed a 3 year deal in September, does seem a strange move from St. Mirren. Looks like Coventry sending him out to get fit.

Not only is he injured....

Not. Only. Is. He. Out. For. 6. To. 8. Weeks......

There is also an option for Coventry to recall him in January!!! 😂😂😂

So he can come up here, rehab until December, get match fit and then get recalled.

That's so St. Mirren, I can't take it. My chest is going to explode.

Fucking hell. Just fucking hell.

When you look at the permament, stripy omnishambles that is Paisley St Mirren Football Club, you shake your head and wonder just how Scottish Cup winning manager and all round gid c**t Alan Stubbs was meant to succeed there. A poisoned chalice indeed.

You we’re doing fine until you mentioned good c**t, and Alan Stubbs in the same sentence.

There’s a reason why that fucking useless bellend will never manage at this level again.

Spunking your load in the first month of the window

I'm honestly not sure why you're still beating this drum. Our squad is already thin as hell. Are you suggesting we should have attempted the first round of games with even fewer players?

The Magennis leaving rumours have been circulating for a while; not ideal that he's gone, but he's been injured anyway; yes the fullback appears to have been a huge f**k-up.

ButI still can't believe you think we should have waited to the end of the window to do more business. It's literally nonsensical.

As an aside, though, given that all parties - including the player himself - has failed to mention this injury, I'm now wondering if Coventry's prognosis was simply wrong.

The player himself has tweeted that he can't wait to meet everyone and get started. Surely he wouldn't have put that if he was swapping one treatment table in the Midlands for another in Paisley? (I'm fully grasping at straws here, in case that's not clear. Surely to f**k we're not that incompetent. 😐 )
