Decent going forward but utterly useless defensively.

I noticed this with Dummet when he started. Defensively these boys are very well drilled and when they move into a looser formation they look lost. Dummet adapted, Coulson did not.

I'm starting to get a good feeling about this season now. I only caught bits of the online stream yesterday but Durmus looks very promising. The absolute difference it makes when you've got a fast attacking player who can carry the ball a bit. And we've got him on a two year contract!

Very promising.

1. Go back and delete your post.

2. Have a strong coffee.

3. Take a paracetemol.

4. Lie down in a darkened room for two hours.

5. Log out of P&B, don’t return until after we see what happens against Aberdeen.

Follow these five simple steps and you’ll be fine. Until then, we’ll keep an eye on you for any further signs of madness.

He failed to mention that Aberdeen have been trying unsuccessfully for two years to treat what is effectively a chronic condition that merits him retiring from football.

Why didn’t he and his agent discuss medical insurance when he signed a contract with us when he’d already been told his condition was chronic.

Good luck to the lad. It's always sad to see what looks like a career being ended early. Here's hoping there is a route within the game to help him get sorted - like when Barry Lavety went to Bath to get treatment on his back injury.

They more than likely did but he may not be covered for a pre-existing medical situation.

Seems a fair enough solution in that the player will get money up front that he can choose to invest in the required medical procedure and St Mirren save money on income tax and NI Contributions.

Good luck to the lad with what he decides to do next.

Yeah, on face of it, it's not been a comfortable process for any party.

This suits everyone by looks of things.

Wonder what Harry Davies is up to. We'll need at least 2 centre backs, 2 centre forwards and at least 2 wingers.

We aren't short on centre mids. A lot depends on Tansey but by the sounds of it he is gubbed.

We nearly have the spine of a decent team. Everyone is on the hunt for a 15 goal a season striker but Mullen has shown he can score goals.
Looks like what i heard back then was possibly true.

Shame for the guy, hopefully he can get fit and get his career back on track.

Will Stephen McGinn get back into the team once he is fit?

It’s a terrible shame for the lad, but it’s seems that he’s been diagnosed with a chronic injury and he’s unable to accept the diagnosis.

If St Mirren were to come out and say this then they would f**k up his chances of him finding a gig with another club.

If he does find another club then exactly the same scenario will be be the inevitable outcome.
