here’s a short list of players the management team have pissed off in the 18 months since joining

Rab Douglas

Mark Baxter

Kevin Nicoll

Craig Smith

Omar Kader

Bryan Hodge

Kerr Hay

Chris Templeman

Iain Campbell

Thomas O’Brien

Danny Denholm

Gavin Swankie

Stuart Malcolm

Martyn Fotheringham

not to mention backroom staff and others who helped out at the club who have left because of them and people outside the club they’ve rubbed up the wrong way but some still defend bollan like he can do no wrong

Rab took a strop at his buddy being sacked, sorry to see him go

Baxter, retired due to work reasons, not a great player IMHO

Kevin Nicoll, took a strop but frankly everyone was glad to see the back of that troublemaker

Smith, not sure what happened there, conflicting rumours.

Omar was out of contract and free to move, not missed

Hodge, looked good before he came and after he left, strangely unconvincing in a Forfar shirt regardless of Dick or Gary being in charge

Hay, left to get more first team football, got no more or less game time under either gaffer

Temps, was down the pecking order under GB so moved on amicably

Yano, was released but wanted to stay (he said it to my face)

TOB, wanted away

DD, offered more money than here and a sizeable signing on fee

Swanks, well documented strops throughout his career, this is just the latest. Came here after doing the same at Arbroath. Wasted talent.

Malcs, retired moved into coaching but no openings at Station Park, wouldn't be at all surprised to see him back one day.

Foxy, frustrated at lack of game time, close to retirement so moved to enjoy his football and joined his the sizeable group of ex colleagues at Montrose. Still loves Forfar.

So, big Rab and Swanks, who both have history of huffing leaving because of GB, Nicoll, Smith and TOB possibly moving due to GB. The rest moving on for a variety of reasons which happens to most clubs.

Adam, Bain, Cox and Lister all follow GB and he's signed some cracking players since.

Bollan may not be everyone's cup of tea but neither is Dick Campbell to be fair. GB would not have been my choice but our football and, especially, our fitness improved under him. He's not a big character/man of the people like Dick but he's doing a good job, room for improvement but he knows that too.

There's only Foxy, TOB and Denholm i'd want off that list. Sanny is just too old now.

Only Douglas (who left before GB even took a training session) and now Swankie took the huff with the manager. Some wanted to stay but Bollan didn't want them.

Our manager is attracting some quality players to the club and it's barely getting a mention.

This. The last part specifically.

Barely a word mentioned on the new signings who all seem to be very positive.

Yes , you clown left because of the management team .

That's football though. Every single club loses players every year. It's the management team's job to replace them with better and GB seems to have a knack of picking up a few cracking players.
(Not sure who this "you clown" is who left because of the management team though)

He'll just retire. Don't see why Forfar fans are being so bairny over this. He's been brilliant for you, it's nothing to do with the fans??? Same as the Douglas tweet.

Seems like an issue with your manager, seems like a lot of people have an issue with him. And if you're putting hours and hours in every week and travelling all over the country when you canna stand your manager and all your mates have managed to get away it must be brutal.

He helped you lads get up with some great performances despite this, he never chucked it. You'd think an amicable agreement could be made considering.

Hope to see it sorted soon because the guys too young to call it a day, still can do a good job for someone. Be really sad if the guy had to end up quitting and wouldn't look good for Bollan or Forfar. Nobody knows the ins and outs here yet he's the only one being vilified? Seems fair..

Swankie threw a huge hissy fit about 5 games into our relegation season whilst still under DC and stayed there until GB came in. I'm pretty sure DC picked him every week just to show the fans what a pain in the arse Swankie could be. Unfortunately Sanny paid the price as he had no support and looked isolated for most of the season.

Sorry to see him down tools as he is a joy to watch when on his game.
Easton is the obvious replacement, hopefully Forfar will get the better deal out of Swankie's strop.

ADVERT.     SOCCER TRADER.

For Sale. A Classic Vintage Mid- Fielder. G.S.

G.S. Has been used sparingly last season spending most of the time on the half way line avoiding any form of physical contact. He is not good in the rain or snow preferring the sunshine. He is hugely popular ,winning the Fans,Players and Away supporters Player of the Year awards. He won the top scorer award , goal of the season and the special award for having the most expensive car in the car park.

He can score from tap ins to 40 yard rockets but prefers to pass to a team mate rather than take the shot and glory himself.

He gives 100%  in every game and his team mates carried him aloft after he singlehandedly  won our final play off game to secure promotion.

A  G.S. Is not cheap to run and we will be looking for top book for this sought after model.

Few boys on that list bitching about Bollan on twitter with a lot of other players from other clubs joining in with likes etc too I've noticed so...

As for Swankie, he signed that deal thinking his manager would be the same. Same as any normal job, you sign for a guy you like and when he's replaced with a p***k you'd hardly want to be staying there?

Swankie has previous for this type of behaviour. He took a dislike to Paul Sheerin, the first manager to steer Arbroath to winning a division and the man who signed him on his last stint at Gayfield.

Too many people trying to blame Bollan for misery-guts' latest strop when the club has likely bent over backwards to accommodate the ungrateful spoilt child. He's been a petulant child before even during Dick's reign who openly admitted GS was a difficult player to manage.

Let him go or let him rot on the sideline, I don't care but keep him out of the dressing room. Maybe one day Swanks will grow up and look back at his career and wish he'd done things differently.

Time to concentrate on the current squad not all the ifs and buts about departed players.Im getting a bit optimism back with the recent signings.Wee bit quality there imho.

Correct. Did I hear that Grant Adam is struggling? A new keeper may be necessary
