glensmad
Glencairn are going with a small squad of 35 next season [emoji4] We've already re-signed all 34 of this season's squad, and we're adding 7 over-age players from the u21s. [emoji23] A few more and you'll have 4 players for every position...or a different team for each competition. Genius!!!
Glens lad
Wonder if any of the current glens squad will move on. ( why would they if all goes to plan) but if it goes pear shaped will they?
glensmad
On a more serious note, Arthurlie have tweeted tonight that midfielder Jordan Leyden and striker Gary Smith have been placed on the transfer list. Presumably they are both contracted to next season and not out of contract in June.

Both Gary's are differing class as is young Jordan n Eddie.

As far as I am aware all of the current Glens (Super Afton, so as to save confusion on here) squad are signed up for next season, with some committed for the next 2 years!! Why would any move on even if we don't happen to see out the league & cup double? For our club to go that close in a season when many had us tipped for relegation is already fantastic! But having said that, I'm confident in achieving the double.

Seemingly the manager has said most of his pool aren't good enough. I think we are about to see if the Arthurlie job is too big for Mackie or not. There are rumblings that some fans are not happy at certain players being shown the door at Dunterlie.
Glens lad
Why would any move on even if we don't happen to see out the league & cup double? It's just 'football' can be so fickle. Grass is always greener on the other side some think ????♂️ Many reasons come to mind. New job. Personal life, new challenge etc. It's a decent squad at lock park [emoji41] long may it continue [emoji6]
