Ludo*1
Ultimately Kepa has cost himself a trophy, a manager and hopefully his first team slot. Not bad in 15 minutes work.
RossBFaeDundee
Someone's getting fired... Very entertaining last few minutes, turned a game I couldn't have cared less about into one I couldn't turn my eyes away from. Kepa is the Banter MVP. They will just play on until the sub can be made. The game was stopped. The 4th official was going to put the board up. The instruction the officials were given was a substitution was about to be made. They should have held play up until it was.

Surely if the board went up and the keeper refused to go, he’d get booked for time-wasting. If he still refused to go, he’d be booked again and sent off. spud131
Couldn't understand that in the break between extra time and the penalties the pundits/commentators questioning who would be in goals for Chelsea during the shootout. Surely the players that finish the extra time have to be the players that take part in the shootout?

You can change the keeper but only if the one who finished the game is (and I quote) “unable to continue”. Not sure there was evidence of that, especially if the player himself was saying he was fit. Yip, commentators waste televised football - the option to turn them off should always be used when available. If someone sat beside you at a game and talked utter shite all the way through it you'd soon get them fucking hounded.
buchan30
Chelsea should bin that keeper for his attitude. If sarri makes it past the next few weeks, you can guarantee he won’t be playing. Sarri wanted to go through him at full time.

Frankie S
Never thought I’d support Man City against any other team, but Chelsea are an utter disgrace of a club, rotten inside and out. That nonsense could only have happened at Chelsea.
