Carabao Cup

Arsenal for next season need a new keeper and first team replacements for Mustafi, Kolacinac, Xhaka, Welbeck, Ramsay, Iwobi and Wilshire to name but a few.

Isn't going to happen though as Arsenal is a cash cow for the owners. Keep it ticking along in top half of league and they and Wenger will just keep taking the money.

Gary Neville ruined it for me today, everyone can see arsenal are shite. It was like he had some personal vandetta against them.
He was part of that Man United team during the Keane/Vieira era so he's got it in for them all the time. He was worse than even the most rabid Spurs fan the way he was carrying on today.

Sky should boot him into touch. He is a complete tosser.

They're scrapping extra time in the Carabao Cup next season

I’m normally a traditionalist when it comes to stuff like this but it probably makes sense. Still haunted by the 8pm kick off against Middlesbrough, extra time and 14-13 penalty shoot out a few years ago ... it was almost daylight when we got home

VAR at Premier League grounds. Isn't that assuming that there will be enough cameras at those games? Surely they'll still have the old one or two camera set up at those venues, especially in the early rounds? And what about live televised games at lower league grounds? Why are the EFL such chumps when it comes to this tournament? They're essentially saying their own clubs grounds aren't good enough for some reason. All this on top of the draw at stupid o'clock that wasn't even televised in the far East.

At Southend this evening to watch the mighty Bees do their thing. 11 changes to the starting line-up from Saturday but still a very strong squad (showing strength in depth). Pretty shit stadium, not a fan of the curved roof covering the whole stand.
