I didn't steal anything as it was the obvious retort. My old BT router went on the blink when I clicked on the submit button, hence the slight delay. There's probably a wee joke in there too.

Rip-off BT won't replace it or my Youview box which does not have even basic wifi. Both freeze regularly which is very annoying in the middle of a match. They take 5 minutes to reboot and reconnect.

I've got 9 months left on my broadband/TV/Sport contract which would cost over £500 to get out of. After that, I will leave. This year's 10% price rise was the last straw. BT used to offer decent renegotiation terms after a year or so. BT Sport's merger with Warner Discovery/Eurosport could be big factor in their inflexibility. If I could, I'd drop BT Sport and go for a Sky and Eurosport package. It's an issue that deserves a separate thread. ETA - I hate paying for Crocker's shit too! Are you suggesting that the Scottish Government nationalises broadband? I would not wish to return to the days when the old GPO took months to change numbers, install new lines etc. There is a strong case for devolved regulation to ensure that improvements are delivered on time at an affordable cost.

Not many stories that go across all 4 gospels but Jesus booting out the shysters, gamblers and scalpers from the temple is one.

Granny Danger
Not sure where to put this but it’s about time John Mason was kicked out the SNP. His latest comments about the SCOTUS abortion ruling is just the latest outrage on this issue.
