orfc
Here it is in that right wing Tory rag The National. https://www.thenational.scot/news/23300229.nicola-sturgeon-approval-rating-falls-trans-prisoner-row-dominates-headlines/ Oh.... Indy kids are going to have to face facts. She's not arsed about independence. Social justice stuff like transgender rights Yes, independence No If she was bothered then still hovering at the same level of support Salmond gained before handing over 8 years ago is a shocking non-achievement given the absolute gifts the Tories keep on giving in the issue No doubt the brains trust will be along with their wee red cards and top banter like "oh the state of that" - it's a cyber kicking for me and no mistake

She could easily have avoided it all by just going along with public opinion, as she's previously done with other issues. Time after time, year after year we see these attacks on the SNP, the gender issue being the latest, followed by doom laden predictions of the Independence vote and the SNP heading for obscurity according to the london based polls. And then comes a Scottish election and hey ho the SNP are voted back in handsomely with the party being the third largest in westminster and with the greens enjoying a majority in Holyrood. The Scots are wise to it all and obviously ignore all the shite thats thrown at them by the london based tory media and tory and labour parties, the more they attack the SNP the more resolved we become in our struggle for our country. There is now one only Labour MP in Scotland where they had 44 in the 1970's, and this is a party that was founded by Scots. Scotland has woken up and changed forever. And at the end of the day if it wasn't for the list system there would not be one tory in the Scottish Government and there lies the truth regardless of polls and lies. DeeTillEhDeh
The Heil's front page today is just laughable. The only quote about SNP infighting comes from that totally impartial source that is a Tory MSP.

alta-pete
Have any PnBr’s loaned anyone £100,000 from ‘their own resources’ yet failed the need to share that fact with their spouse? Or, if they had, their partner then forgot about it?
ScotiaNostra
I had read about that loan before and never really thought much about it. but after seeing the reply at the press conference earlier. The reply did sound a bit dodgy. Forgetting about the reply though , Whats the story about the loan and why is it seen as unusual?

She did also 'forget' about the time she was told that her long term mentor had been accused of sexual assault.

Very revealing of Sharp at dinner at Chequers with Johnson and his cousin Blyth on the day Sharp got the BBC job. Sharp not revealing to the BBC Chairman job interview panel that he had talks with Johnson prior to the interview. Sharp chairing a BBC interview panel to appoint a head of news which is very unusual plus he has no journalistic experience, this led to major print protests by BBC journalists Sharp is a tory donor as is his son in law. Very murky and as Nicolson pointed it is more like a Banana Republic jobs for the boys. The tories are totally corrupt and indefensible, no right minded person could make excuses for the tories.

The committee chair, Damian Green, got things under way. Perhaps Richard – nobody calls him Dick, at least not to his face – could ease things along by giving a brief timeline of the events. Just to avoid any confusion. Sharp looked horrified. The whole point of his existence was to keep boundaries blurred. Life at the very top of British society is one long non-disclosure agreement."
