Matthews is pathetic, he was more or less saying that the independent report didn't matter and that she has been found "guilty" by the committee and that's all that matters. Also making a big thing about the VONC and emphasising that despite today's outcome this "isn't going away". You can see that he's rattled and utterly raging, however he's still defiantly clutching at straws. As I say, pathetic.
BFTD
It's just incredible how desperate the Tories and Labour have been. Absolutely frothing right from the start, to the point that they can't bring themselves to admit defeat even after the independent report has come in. Would it not have made a bit more sense to make calm "very serious if true" noises and wait to see how the wind blew? The average punter with little idea about what this was about must be thinking they seem unhinged. Edit: forgot about the Lib Dems because nobody cares. monthefife
The unionist seethe and utter denial is a sight to behold. They can all get stuffed.

The unionists have concocted this whole fiasco and it has all backfired and made Nicola a victim and you know how the public loves an underdog. In fact the tories have been made to look like amateurs with their poorly timed resignation calls and silly leaks. So you don't think the Unionists would use a negative result for Queen Nic as ammunition? -

John Lambies Doos
Doesn't matter about the other report, it's a complete smokescreen, will be batted away with ease as politically fuelled. What matters is the independent one in which she's been 100% cleared. Unionists can bleat all they want but they have lost here big time.@Lex.
Dons_1988
The best thing Nicola can do now is to focus on the women who have been let down and let all the noise come from increasingly desperate opposition politicians who are seeing their big career moment go up in flames.

BFTD
Every now and then somebody posts the response they've received from the BBC about bias by one of their employees. It always amounts to, "everybody else thinks they're magic, so shut your hole, cunto". Presumably they have somebody employed to just cut and paste the same script, with tailored amendments.

It's an attempt to detract from the credibility of the report by casting doubt on Hamilton's independence, but it's a lie. Alex Salmond seems to have confidence in Mr Hamilton. jamamafegan
Just seen a comment on FB saying that the Unionists trying to discredit and call into question the legitimacy of the QC report is all very “Trumpian.” Couldn’t agree more.

Blatant, almost gleeful corruption at almost every level of the conservative government, rising poverty throughout the UK, the Brexit catastrofuck, constant underfunding of public services, the wasting of revenues from Scottish natural resources - to name but a few - obviously aren’t sufficient enough reason, so is there any tipping point that would make you rethink, or are you just “No” forever regardless of scenario? Then, now, forever
