When we visited at the start of the season, players got changed in the main stand at Shielfield and walked round the track to the pitch. Only thing they had at the ground was a newly installed pie hut. I believe now they are installing portable buildings behind the goal for changing rooms and hospitality, new fencing also gone in. They were supposed to be sharing with Berwick Rangers this season but that fell through, so they had to try and improve Old Shielfield to meet EoS requirements and it looks like they are doing a good job. According to their Facebook page, Glenrothes Strollers AFC have submitted an application to join the East of Scotland League for next season. Current members of the Kingdom of Fife (Amateur) League, the Strollers own their own ground at Overstenton Park, and their club photos show that they have an excellent pavilion built in 2016. The Strollers are an "SFA Legacy Club", with boy and girl youth teams, and the club's adult team should meet the EoS entry criteria.
