😄😄 I know some bowling clubs with similar oddities. London Rd bowling club in Edin is nowhere near London Rd,,,,, its in Porty. However there is a bowling club in London Road - but its called Hillside, Confusing or what??

Its the London Road Foundry Bowling Club, a foundry (Miller & Co) who were based in london Road, Abbeyhill., but probably due to lack of space to built a bowling green  in the area, probably  had to relocate the club to the Porty area.  Hillside BC never had London Road in its address, Brunton Place.

Aye Brunton Place, Continuation of Leopold Place. Most folks seem unaware that London Road basically starts at Easter Road. The anonomaly is Gardeners Cottage

URL tweaked so it's very similar to the proper fixtures site...

"East Premier is already all ex-jfa, bar one, so" can't even get that right - it's 4/18 that are not ex-Juniors

I wish you hadn’t posted that link, my head hurts trying to make sense of that complete dogs dinner that he wants.

Who is part of this “new pyramid campaign”? Anyone on here?

The great thing about his site is that it is the one place where we can see all the latest scores from tiers 1 to 7 as the goals go in. I just wish he’d concentrate on that.

Probably just the guy who runs that website himself from past experience of the "open grade" and "Scottish national league" stuff he was banging on about 20 years ago. He posts on here occasionally (mick90 is what comes to mind as his username).

Bat shite mental!

From what I’ve read of his ramblings, rantings and ravings, both here and elsewhere, this guy Pyramid Pete is quite genuinely off the scale crazy. Bat Shit crazy.

I’d be surprised (amazed actually) if you happen to find anyone, anyone at all, who is part of the movement he seems to want us all to believe exists when he uses the word ‘we’, which he does constantly, as in all likelihood he really should be using the word ‘I’. Quite simply, there is no ‘we’. It’s quite sad really because his work in collating scores, tables etc is both meticulous and excellent.

Potential new team for next season - Kirkliston and South Queensferry FC

Look to be a decent addition in terms of the organisation. The problem that a lot of these clubs are going to have is a decent ground. Their ams seem to mainly play at the Queensferry Sports Hub which looks to be your typical 3g cage.

Hopefully they'll receive more of a welcome and flexibility on meeting ground requirements than Letham did. Still quite a few more large towns other than South Queensferry with no pyramid club such as North Berwick, Dunblane, Alva, Kinross and Cupar.

If they plan to be based at the Queensferry Sports Hub would they be thinking of taking it over as Inverkeithing has done at Dalgety Bay? That would be a really good base if they have the manpower and other resources needed. Wouldn't be an over-night job though.

Guess, if anyone is interested or has lots of time to spare, it would be an exercise to check what similar hubs are out there with Councils wanting to pass over responsibilities for management, maintenance, etc to local groups or clubs. There-again maybe not!

Just as well for those that don't like to drive north of the Tay that the Tay Bridge line of latitude boundary was removed from the Club 42 playoff rules after rather than before Tayside pyramid entry.

The SFA and other parties to the agreement were always likely to find a way to persuade the LL to acquiese to that change eventually so the sequence of events on that was no sure thing.

As things stand now though I doubt there will be any huge appetite for tier 9 EoS entry and trips to Staneyburn as opposed to Midlands League entry from new clubs anywhere north of the Ochils.

The EoS still hold an effective veto over any new LL feeder ever emerging through the LL entry playoff rules, so the Midlands League will almost certainly remain an HL feeder even if a future north of the Tay Club 42 (or possibly even Brechin City?) may theoretically have to be accomodated at some future point by the EoS after a subsequent relegation.

Queensferry Sports Hub passed over from Edinburgh Council to being a Community asset a number of years ago.  Incidentally theres also a spanking new 4 g pitch right next door to it at the High School.

With the Hub already being Community run would that make the football club's hopes more achievable? Hope so.

You forget that the EoS and the Midland League agreed a boundary.   The Letham situation was a little odd, and perhaps the Midland League acted outwith the agreement, but I doubt the EoS are ready to hole the Midland League below the waterline and admit Dundee or Angus clubs.
