What work for example would be necessary at Little Kerse? Judging by where Leith Athletic play, then not much.

I was just trying to get some informed info what is the minimum standard that the EOSFL would require for a floodlit cage, spectator barrier down one side, dugouts, covered area, changing rooms and toilets. What is acceptable and what is not? Interested what Camelon thought of Little Kerse for their recent floodlit friendly. What needs improving to bring up to EOSFL standard? This has nothing to do with Syngenta. What cages are getting near to being EOSFL compliant in our area?

They would probably have to get the changing rooms next to the pitch and a fence to stop ppl just walking in. Not sure The Owners would do that.

So unless there is a change in the requirements. It shouldn't matter if changing rooms and toilets at the likes of little kerse are close or not surely ? Different for barriers and cover I'd imagine.

For a couple of years East Stilingshire's website said the club were negotiating to move to the Little Kersh , as a permanent home after Firs Park was closed down. Does anyone know why this fell through, as I don't ? Edited February 27, 2020 by Robert James

There is also the point that existing member clubs will have joined before some of the standards were changed some wouldn't get in now. Higher standards are required. Checking with the EoS web site for criteria is the thing to do and then contact the league directly over any questions.

Burnie_man
Sounds like we're going to go very close to having 16-16/16 next season, maybe even 16 - 17/17

Expected that Newburgh and Lochore Welfare will apply and there's meant to be this existing non Fife applicant already. So there's 32. Of course depending on playoffs above could leave that at 31. Doesn't take much at the minute.

EdinburghBlue
IMO this is all about forcing the SJFA to engage positively with the Pyramid and hopefully moving as a whole into it and maintaining old rivalries. An increasing number of clubs want that to happen.Integration will happen eventually, but not the way you envisage. The EoS is pretty much a dead duck and a massive risk for any big Junior club to move into. There's a reason why Craigroyston and Easthouses moved the other way, and other clubs may follow.Just shows how hard it is to predict the future!
