Robert James
Even the Non League Scotland website has published the final SJFA 2017/18 East Region League Tables in an abbreviated format, having removed the records of all the clubs which have joined the EoSL for next season. It just looks weird. Good news for Dunipace though, as the 2017/18 SJFA West Region league tables has NOT removed their playing record for last season, despite its move to the EoSL.
HibeeJibee
NLS's tables are just a feed taken from respective league websites. You're correct the East Region Juniors website tables for 2017-18 now only show clubs continuing in membership... e.g. the rather farcical-looking 5-team Superleague:http://www.ultrasoft2.co.uk/ersjfa/tables.asp?Competition=McBookie.com Tbf, I'm guessing they've removed the departing clubs from some other part of their site and it's had an unintended knock-on effect, rather than a case of damnatio memoriae.

bravehearts dad
Do suspensions for players incurred whilst playing Junior last season carry forward to the EoS for the new season?

From https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish-fa/football-governance/disciplinary/player-suspensions/ - this is the latest PDF lists all SFA player suspensions: https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/3729/los46-25-may-2018-cw.pdf Bonnyrigg has one player still suspended in the Scottish Cup from 2016! I think they will carry over. In the past when an SPFL club signed a player from the juniors and he had a suspension from his junior days the SFA upheld it. I remember we signed Kris Renton from Nitten and he missed our 1st game of the season because he still had a suspension to serve from the previous season.

The boy will still have the suspension from 2016 as he and Rose haven't been involved in the Scottish Cup since then if you look at the suspension list there a few which go back a while sure Rose keeper Michael Andrews still has a League Cup ban after being sent off for us in 2015
Auld Heid
CLUB STATEMENT - Syngenta Juveniles The Club are delighted to announce that they will apply to become part of the East of Scotland League from Season 2019/2020. The move to the 6th tier of Scottish Football will include a Senior team and U20s Development side. This completes the player pathway for the club from Fun Fours right through to Senior first team football. Preparations are already well underway and this is fabulous news for our upcoming teams who will now have the opportunity to stay and play Senior football at the club. The Club will also work towards their SFA club licence in order to become a full SFA member. One of the benefits being participation in the “Big Scottish Cup”. Exciting times ahead and more news will follow as the preparations continue.

Wonder if there will be a anymore around the corner, not only in the EoSFL but for any rumoured WoSFL or NoSFL.

Not sure about the tier 6 part, more likely to be tier 8.......or tier 7 at best if they opt to regionalise beyond the EOS Premier the following season.
GNU_Linux
The last semi-pro team out of Grangemouth was Falkirk Juniors who existed 2011-2016. As for the last 'senior' team paging HJ. Are they planning on using Grangemouth Stadium?

This thread will never die ! Of course all subject to them having a compliant ground and getting elected. 44 minutes ago, Bundesliga Boy said: Not sure about the tier 6 part, more likely to be tier 8.......or tier 7 at best if they opt to regionalise beyond the EOS Premier the following season. On paper there's space for up to 9 more clubs (i.e. 48 overall) before you'd have to establish a fourth division (or use some conference arrangement). If only 3 divisions I'd think 3 region-wide tiers would be unlikely. If nothing else you've a similar issue to this year i.e. 'demoting' lowly conference finishers to tier 8 when they expected tier 7. 21 minutes ago, GNU_Linux said: The last semi-pro team out of Grangemouth was Falkirk Juniors who existed 2011-2016. Maybe have to return to Victorian times? 17 minutes ago, Salvo Montalbano said: What's that Legacy Club map all about? Quality Mark is an SFA accreditation scheme, and Legacy is it's highest level. Incidentally whoever drew-up that map seems to have got rather carried away with the size of Shetland, unless they're now pumping steroids through it as well as oil. It's seems to be a way to encourage a set of standards for youth and community involvement. Making sure there's the right infrastructure, coaching and the like. There's more info here https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/football-development/clubs/club-accreditation/ The current set of criteria that you have to meet can be find here https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/football-development/clubs/club-accreditation/quality-mark-criteria/ As for Cumnock Juniors specifically. They seem to run sides from the age ranges of 1999-2009 with a girls team as well http://www.cjce.co.uk/youths

cmontheloknow
Just as a PS to the Cumnock thing re: the legacy map, Pollok United Soccer Academy have strong ties to Pollok FC, and are an official feeder to the Juniors. We had 4 of their players on Junior contracts last season. Few other clubs in Glasgow though going by that map.
pipedreamer
I believe syngenta signed a long term lease with little kerse. Looking at the Sse Scottish women’s cup Stirling Uni v FC Kilmarnock highlights it looks like a 3G at Little Kerse is already railed off similar to Kelty. Ironic that after using Little Kerse for so long that syngenta become the first team to play out it in the senior league.
