You forgot about a population with a collective chip on its shoulder and a culture of grievance, who like to "put people in their place" and scorn  those with ambition.

I think this bold assertion needs a bit of expanding. A chip about what? A culture of grievance means what, exactly? 'Scorn ambition' would suggest that, for example, teachers don't want pupils to succeed in life. Is your assertion a bit over the top?

Here's a picture of the hard border between Sweden and Norway.

The drivers of the lorries are heading to the border toilets - just in case !!!    That's according to the sign front right.  I think it translates as "dinnae take the chance".

The red and yellow triangle sign presumably refers to the official prostitutes for murder pick up point.

If they are weighting the polls according to what they are genuinely being told by respondents about their likelihood to vote, it isn't safe to automatically dismiss these numbers. If leavers are seething, swivel-eyed and energised while Remainers are despondent, not enthused about either Corbyn or Swinson and apathetic, we could be sleep walking towards disaster.

Ach it's not going to be a disaster no matter who gets into power.

For us in Scotland it is.  We have el bullington depfeffelllll and his 1% favourites in the uber-reich minority or a dead, but realistically more fair across the board, Labour party.

We need to push for Independence as soon as to rid ourselves of this westminster noose.   Forza Ecosse  😎

For sure the 'being Scottish' agenda is being cranked up but they are forgetting who holds the balance of power:  Voters in Scotland who aren't native Scots.

When they do their wee parades in their Jimmy bunnets accompanied by bagpipes they feel all proud - but are missing the main point:  To put together a credible case for an independent Scotland you have to talk sense to the 17/18% of the Scottish electorate who weren't born in Scotland.  I see no evidence of this happening.

How about "Vote for independence this time, or the UK Government is deporting you back to whatever hell hole you came from?"
