True.

One thing we do know, it ain't Third Lanark

Like them or not Edusport are pro's. Thirds are well meaning amateurs, their main purpose is to get the name back in the seniors. I just thought there might be a deal to be done.

Unless they move to Glasgow I hope the LL/SFA block a name change like that.

And I'm curious to see what efforts they've gone through to actually play out of Glasgow. Because it hasn't been that easy for BSC and others sorting out a ground.

How much effort have either of them really put in to ìt?

It's clear that neither model relies on identification with any location.

Glasgow United won by the way

Always makes my laugh when a team call themselves United but haven't United with another team.  Airdrie United and Manchester United leaps to mind. Each to their own I suppose.

So was the the actual vote the result or was it imposed by those in charge given what you said previously ?

Glasgow United won the vote against FC United so they will definitely be going ahead with that name assuming no issues with the amateur team 'United Glasgow' (who actually themselves run a really good system where they open themselves to all players - refugees,  gay players,  immigrants, school leavers, homeless etc and seem to run quite a good community club)

Also they won't be playing Annan much longer I believe. They are in 'advanced talks' to develop an existing site at Strathclyde Park which I assume they hope to move to at the end of 18/19

Well I suppose it's a bit nearer Glasgow, I'll give them that.
