Theresa May Statement - 11:15

The Prime Minister is to make a statement in Downing Street at 11:15. Statements in Downing Street are usually for the most important matters, what do we thinks going down?

Suggestions so far are a snap general election, May resigning due to ill health, war with North Korea and the death of the Queen.

Have any P&Bers ever made an eagerly awaited announcement that turned out to be nothing?

I think she's going to step down (or announce timetable to) on health grounds. Don't think she looks well and there was a bit of chatter over the past few days that she isn't enjoying the job.

I didn't realise she is a type 1 diabetic.

Apparently the foreign secretary is making a statement later today to the HoC so it.could be a military deployment, maybe to Iraq to assist with Mosul or Syria for attack in Raqqa.

Yesterday she signed a deal with Trump to make the UK the 51st of the USA,

And her and Trump are leaving their respective partners to Co-Habit in The Bahamas, handy for Trump golfing in Florida

and for May to turn the UK into a privately run tax dodging company contolled from there.
