Not really surprised here. I'm thinking that there might be too much to do for the teams behind us to catch us, but that'll probably be the only thing that keeps us in the playoff spots.

Dropping players seems the way to go until the end of the season. Even if the players coming on aren't good enough, the current XI just aren't firing on any cylinders, let alone all of them.

Great result for us today.

Hibs have won the league now and they'll either have eyes on a cup final or be on a downer from losing the semi when we play them on the 26th. Possible chance of a result of some kind?

f**k sake, good feelings gone McManus on for Hardie. Worst of it all is Skacel is still on

Thought McManus done quite well when he came on. And thought skacel was reasonable too. Some fans need to get a grip and lay off the same players every week.

On to today's game, the result was massive! Especially with st Mirren not winning and Dumbarton getting beat. Hope the ayr game goes our way too!

Pleasing to see us trying to add to the score too! Rather than sitting in trying to keep what we had, we looked quite good going forward today

No idea where that result came from but the subs 2nd half made a huge difference as did Matthews being back in midfield. You saw what it meant to him when he scored. Absolutely delighted for him.

Barr showed exactly why he needs to start the last 3 matches. His cute pass to Thomson for the 2nd goal was superb and Johnson would never have done that.

Stewart being been is massive as well. His end product is lacking but he'll run and run and right now we need a player like him.

As good as the win was we still rode our luck today and have no idea how the free kick didn't go in. Looked like it was hitting the top corner all the way. Today we got that bit of luck we've been needing.

Morton looked like a team who've struggled recently and can see what they're fans were on about pre-match now. Bringing Scullion on and playing him up top to be marked by M'Voto was fantastic tactics by Duffy. Can't see you finishing 2nd now though which makes promotion very very hard.

Skacel in midfield, been saying it for weeks he needs to play deeper. Guy clearly reads the game well, no use out on the wing or up front. Thought Handling was good as well, a better all round player than Callachan to be fair. His movement and ball retention is a cut above, although Callachan definitely has the better engine.

Great win and a couple of goals. Magic.

Skacel more than justified his selection. Didnt do much, if anything wrong.

Great desire shown by the team today. If we could mirror our home form under Hughes when we play away that'd be grand.

The clubs and the SFA should get their heads together and stop giving bookings for players celebrating with their own fans.

Booking Matthews for celebrating with his own fans, who are in an all seated stand 100 yards away from the opposition fans isn't right.

Skacel actually played pretty well. Let's give credit where it's due. Ross Matthews the deserved man of the match, the difference he makes to the team really is incredible.

Good performance, I would say a deserved win but we did get the rub of the green for a change, let's be honest. Morton hit the post three times (at 0-0, 1-0 and 2-0).

Delighted though. It was a must-win and we won. Well done to Hughes who used his subs very well too. Needed a bit of breathing space with our next two away from home, but we've got a bit of hope that we might stay up again. On to Easter Road...

We definitely rode our luck at times, but we've not done that much this season. Nice when you get a few wee breaks like that.

Morton will be the first selection on my fixed odds coupon this weekend.

After that right royal pumping they got on Tuesday they will be desperate to atone. I expect them to go for the jugular straight from the kick-off.

Raith 0 Morton 3.

I am so shite at fixed odds coupons.

Skacel played well today. Some nice touches and lovely passing. I've been a massive critic of his but really struggle to see how anyone could say he was horrendous. Did absolutely nothing wrong and used the ball sensibly. Edit - Convienantly deleted I see.

Mchattie was fucking murder again though.

Skacel in midfield yes , but only playing one forward was glaringly obvious that the ball continued to come back up the park. Especially in the first half.
