welshbairn
What happens to an each way bet with 10 places if your pick is one of 4 players below 8th sharing the same score?

Dead heat rules normally apply, I had this happen to me a couple of weeks ago. Worked example, the one I was referring to... I bet Kevin Chappell at the Arnold Palmer tournament with 1/5 odds e/w top 8. He finished in a 6 way tie for 7th and I got 33% of what I would have got had he finished in the e/w positions outright. Bet him again this week and will win f**k all. Edited April 5, 2018 by Fuctifano

Aye, had to google it but for others there's a clear explanation here. https://en-betfair.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/16/~/sportsbook%3A-what-does-a-dead-heat-in-golf-mean%3F

welshbairn
Had a free bet with PP so bunged it each way on Haotong LI at 40/1. Decent odds I thought. Only 6 places though.
Fuctifano
Got an e/w on Hadwin FRL @ 90/1 so 22.5/1 for the e/w and another 2/7 of that with the dead heat rules (I think) so about 6.7/1. Reinvested some of that on DJ and Fatp***k Reed
Yonas
I stuck Matt Kucher 40/1 and Tiger Woods 11/1 pays out for top 10 finish. Just hoping for something back
jagfox
I'm on Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, Patrick Reed, Bubba Watson and dechambreau or whatever his name is. All e/w with different place terms. Watson was a free £8 bet with Unibet. Good luck lads.
Tartan Dave
Anyone going to have a flutter this weekend. Macintyre a large 80/1. Wiesberger seems crazy long at 100/1. Anyone any insight on why? From what I read, the course favours big hitters. Think I’ll go reed and the 2 i mentioned. Maybe add fleetwood
Tartan Dave
Stats don't suggest it'll suit the bigger hitters its 7,200 yards and at altitude. I'd obviously like to see Bob Macintyre win but I don't think he's too experiences with the bent, coarse grass you get in Mexico. I probably won't be betting on his but I think McIlroy and Rahm and in the kind of form that could win and Lee Westwood is overpriced at 150/1. The preview I was reading this morning alluded to that then said the big hitters could negate a lot of the tricky parts. Of course as luck would have it I now cannot find said preview
Tartan Dave
Thanks for the additional info. The player you're betting Patrick Reed I love watching. Such an excellent tempo to his swing and a stellar short game and mental toughness. His pantomime villain act is also relatively entertaining in a sport where there’s not too much of that kind of thing! Be a cracking weekend of golf, not much better than a couple of your golfers in the mix on a sunday

Tartan Dave
Wee 5 ew on woodland this week. Have also started playing draftkings. Basically fantasy football for golf, quite nice for satisfying the urge of betting every longshot golfer. Recommend it to anyone.
