Let's Jazz it up.

6pts for an away win scoring more than 1 goal.

5pts for a home win scoring more than 1 goal.

4pts for an away win of 1-0.

3pts for a home win of 1-0.

2pts for a score draw.

1pt for a no score draw.

no points for a defeat.

Scrap the league split. Only allow Euro participation based on league positions, no Euro place for Scottish Cup Winner.

Introduce league bonus points for the four teams who have contested the semi finals of the Scottish and League Cup competitions, no matter what league they are in.

Introduce a cup completion for each league, with the finalists being awarded league bonus points for reaching the final.

Keep the play offs, but only for the teams finishing 2nd bottom and 2nd top of each league, in a one off Hampden Final. With top and bottom of each league being automatically promoted/relegated. Bottom of League 3 remain in play off with non league winner.

Scottish Cup as it is with all the rounds it currently has, but when the 'big' teams come in, they must play their first participation in the cup away from home. And this round should be seeded so that none of the top 6 from the top division, (at the time the draw is made), do not meet each other, but only in this round.

League Cup as it is.

The changes you proposed though were ridiculous. If changes were to be made I would go towards something like

A bonus point given for scoring 3 goals or more. This would encourage attacking football especially if a team is coasting on 2 goals etc.

Or

A bonus point given for keeping a clean sheet.

The main point is there nothing wrong with we got.

On a global scale it's the most popular sport and on a national scale it's the most popular sport.

If it ain't broke don't fix it

Last season's league table with this total gronk's idea compared to the actual results

Celtic woulda ran away with it at a far higher margin.
Dundee woulda been rewarded for all their draws by making the top six at the expense of Ross County.
Dundee United woulda still been relegated
Killie woulda still finished in the play offs.

Nothing woulda changed.

The NASL are using this for the season just started.

The NASL use the Aperture/Clausura system that I like a whole hell of a lot. That would definitely be a winner here.

Incidentally the 2016 NASL Championship game (it's called the Soccer Bowl...)was played at the Belson Stadium in Queens, New York

Belson Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium located along Utopia Parkway in Queens, New York City, New York on the Queens campus of St. John's University.

The stadium is built on top of a parking garage to save space in a crowded urban environment. The official capacity is listed as 2,168

Same old same old, 'stale-mate'.

Let's just depend on the standard attraction then of what we have, and hope that the tradition of father taking son keeps the game alive. Cause it's not going to attract anything other than that.

More people attend in this country than any other though.

Even if there was the need to address a crisis of this nature, your proposals are bonkers.  They would diminish the Cup, whilst rendering the League silly.

Change need not equate to progress.
