What films have you seen more than a dozen times?

"The Thing".  Presumably the John Carpenter film with Kurt Russell
Have you seen the 2011 remake?  Have you seen the original 1951 film "The Thing from another world."

Yeah it's the John Carpenter version. The 2011 is a prequel. It's not a patch on the original but don't think it's too bad. The studio forced them to use CGI rather than practical effects.

Not seen the 1951 film but have always meant to watch it.

Over a dozen, probably only Point break, project A, terminator 2 and predator. Not even sure of the last 2 have been as much as 13 times.

Oh, drunken master as well. The dubbing in that is fucking hilarious.

Star Wars (the original, Episodes V and VI probably less than a dozen times)
The Dambusters

Lot of black & white films in there, which just goes to show they don't make movies like they used to.

I have supported people at work who like a film and due to their learning disabilities they crave familiarity so I have seen a few films many many times.
Work list,
Rocky 4,
Speed,
True Grit (original),
Mary Poppins,
Singing in the Rain,
Meet me in St Louis,

My own list is quite short,
Star Wars,
Apocalypse Now,
Guardians of the Galaxy.

Repeat watched things far more when I was a kid as it simply wasn't as easy to get hold of films. If something good was taped off the tv I'd watch over and over.

Police Academy
Police Academy 2
The Shining
The Wicker Man
Back to the Future
The Goonies
The Naked Gun
Restless Natives
Snatch
Dogging Diaries
