Clyde v Stirling

If your biggest concern right now is the fact that Sean Dickson has managed to turn around the opinion of some of the Stirling Albion support, by putting in some good performances.....then I am absolutely stunned.

Still not sure why you found it appropriate to make that post. So he started playing well and fans started to praise him, big deal.

If you follow pieandbovril on twitter they just posted this regarding the Scotland game

A welcome 3 points, secured by a player who was booed on to the park. Never ever understand fans jeering their own.

We were amazed at Forthbank to see a home player booed coming on as a sub you obviously think that helps the player and the team I don't.

Doesn't seem to do stirling any harm have a look at the table , while back in the PC correct world that is Clyde fc they are facing relegation .

Trying to deflect that again your team embarrassed you and the rest of your support.

Dickson for most of his time at the Albion has been shite, he deserved the booing back then. He has since completely turned his game around and is now one of our best players, it happens all the time, I'm sure you've had players that you have booed who have come good.

Unlucky bud.

He deserved to be booed, given his performances. Since Dave MacKay has taken over we have seen a marked improvement from Sean Dickson and we are finally seeing the player give the sort of performances he is capable off.

He deserved to be booed coming on as a sub? That's absolutely pathetic.

I've no idea why adults make a BOOOOOO sound anyway it's embarrassing for all involved.

Because his attitude was stinking at the time. He's changed in recent months however and deserves another chance.

So if he's playing well he deserves support but if he's trying hard and not playing well he deserves a boo noise?

Good quality of supporter that. Can I ask what you believe making a BOOOOOO noise to a fellow human being achieves? I'm intrigued.

Sean Dickson was hiding in many games under Corrigan and McLaren yet was seemingly an automatic pick. Add to that it was always someone else's fault his wayward passes didn't connect really pissed off Albion fans.
He had a proper twitter meltdown when Corrigan got the boot too.

However, he is more than paying his way in the side now and the fans have recognised this. It's not just the important goals he has scored, he has been our best player so far in the calendar year 2017.
He made some poor passes in the first half on Saturday and fans reminded him of this but it wasn't abuse as such.

The problem was he wasn't trying at all, under his good pals McLaren and Corrigan.

Since MacKay he has been excellent.

I don't think I've ever known a team to be so effective at scoring goals from set-plays yet so inefficient at defending them. Usually if you are good at scoring from them you are just as good at defending them. I wouldn't be surprised if Clyde have scored the most goals from set-plays in the league this season, but I also wouldn't be surprised if  they have conceded the most too.

Also, Clyde seem to concede an abnormally high amount of goals from outside the box during open-play. As for conceding from crosses... unchallenged crosses into the box for an unopposed finish seems to be the order of the day. Basically Clyde are utterly rubbish at defending.

The Cowdenbeath game at the weekend should be an exciting event for the neutrals.

How does a Dunfermline supporter know so much about Clyde?

It will only be exciting if Clyde manage to keep a clean sheet, and that's highly unlikely.

As soon as we concede a goal, the heads immediately drop and we assume panic mode, reverting to aimless long punts up the park, whether or not there is someone there to get on the end of them.

Nothing at all exciting about that!

For all his underperforming the one thing he didn't do was hide during games. The rest of your criticism stands though. It was a result of not hiding that his mistakes were so easily seen.

He's now showing to be the player Stenny supporters said we were getting.

I'm more of a football fan than a Dunfermline supporter. My local club play in the second division so I watch them most weeks. When they don't play at home I'll go watch the next local club and so on.... are you the football police?

No, just curious. I have a lot of time for people whose football interests extend outside their .own team's bubble. Not something I could ever do to any extent.

I'm waiting in anticipation for the highlights to be posted, but from where I was sitting I would say he could of stopped the 3rd goal at least.

If they were, they should be prosecuted for indecency. The last fifteen minutes were a fucking porno flick.

Can't agree with that. Porno flicks usually give their audiences some satisfaction.

Live Score allows you to "favourite" individual games. This alerts you to goals as they go in.

You're able to "favourite" lowland league games but i don't know if the live goal alerts work for that league as I've never tried.

Maybe you should try it out to see...

Don't know what set play goals your talking about. Scott McLaughlin takes everything and they either sail 6 feet over everybody's head or they don't clear the first man.
