He is right, to be fair.

To be fair there was not even a bus load of Hamilton Accies supporters. It's a 20-30 minute drive to Ibrox.

There were more stewards in that area than Accies fans!! Rangers have to look at this because we can't keep giving clubs an area that seats 1,000 supporters if they are bringing 50!! The Union Bears are wanting moved so this is the ideal area to give them

To be fair, 50 is a half decent away support for Hamilton!

Yet we brought around 10x our support yesterday to the cup game. Our support was poor, but why should we be criticised when probably around 90% of Hamilton supports Celtic, Rangers and even Motherwell? Then there's the fact that we have a manager who is completely incompetent and set up with no intentions of winning the game. Then there's the fact that you were being asked to pay £24 to be subjected to another pathetic Accies display. Also, Rangers' absolutely magnificent support still didn't help them from dying - something that clubs with far less supporters didn't do.

The Accies fans have had enough;yesterday was an unofficial boycott which worked as 30 of those there were the families of the players.

A team who are deliberately marching to relegation,a team who have had a handful of shots at goal in five games,a team who play with no strikers and the refusal to sack the Manager with the worst record in British football...there are the reasons right there.Who would pay£24 to watch that crap.

You have a cheek slagging our support when 21000 odd of yours went missing for the cup game.

I've been up north this weekend. (Shared a train up on Saturday morning with a few Jambos and Dons fans) and other than the score, know nothing about how the game went.

Question to the Bears that were at the game.  How did we look?  Were we set up any differently, or was it a continuation of the teams that Murtinho had put out?

I dont normally agree with you but you are spot on. £24 to watch a team that has had - I think - 3 shots on target in 4 games.

Started 4 4 2. Played the ball out from the back but huge difference from the tippy tappy slow one dimensional style we have watched for the last 18 months or so. Got the ball forward quickly. Quick accurate short passing was a joy to watch compared to what we have suffered through  and every player from 1-11 was excellent , even Tavernier who was my MOTM, The off the ball movement was almost as impressive. Players making runs middle to front looking for space and creating space for others.

The whole team played a high pressing game and when Accies did get possession they were immediately closed down

All that said it was Hamilton Accies who are a mid table Championship team , at best, the real test will come when we are up against better opposition but very promising start

Tavernier been pushed up from full back to right midfield?

If so, good. Been saying for months they should do that with him.

Was supposed to be playing as a right back in the 4 4 2 but with Hamilton posing zero threat going forward he was free to bomb down the right flank and was playing with a confidence i haven't seen this season.

I think it's fine against the likes of Hamilton as his strengths lie in going forward. Defensively though, against anyone half decent, he's an absolute bombscare when Rangers play with only two centre-half's.
