Another game which Elgin were the better team for most of the game but failed to find the killer touch. IMO the ref bottled it by not sending the Forfar defender when he brought down McLeish when he was through on goal. Not even a foul given. I also don't understand why JW keeps playing Dodd and not Moore.

Forfar are top of the league for a reason, but maybe not for much longer as Clyde have started winning again.

It's a sad state of affairs when 'Forfar fans' are spending more time posting on their nearest rivals than worrying about their own team.  They should be commenting on here about Listers great run and cross from the right wing yesterday...sadly only Bain and Malone in the middle...what's that you have no idea what i am talking about?? Oh well back to the Arbroath thread for you all then.. :-)

Listers got 3 in 3 . Can't really argue with it .

Not an idiot in sight.......poor stuff from us again, we only played for a 20 minute spell 2nd half, where would we have been without Jim Listers goals in the last 3 weeks...you did see his goal today didn't you all?? In fact Jim is so good and committed to the cause he was walking home from Elgin.

With Swanks hamstring looking dodgy(came off 5 from end) Tuesday would be a great chance to play Malone in his proper left back slot and McLaughlin in left mid, we really needed Foxy in the last 10 minutes today, someone to play a pass on one of the worst pitches in the league, hopefully he get's a start on Tuesday...

Not one of us amateur pundits predicted that Bollan would give Aiden Malone a start before Peters or Scott. Was he worth his place. Having read the reports there is no mention of Swankie. Did he put in a shift or was it his usual ghost like contribution?

Swanks got to the bye line a few times and put in a ball....hammy forced him off, Malone didn't start though?? The Malone signing stinks of panic to me, he should have been chucked on for the last 5 ...if he was any good!!  Surely he has to get a run out on Tuesday.....you know?

Cheers for clearing that up. Twitter and The Sunday Post both had A. Malone as starting. FAKE NEWS!!!

Not a "well done Gary" on a well earned point at a difficult venue? No didn't think so.

Ignoring the on field performances and questionable line ups, although we've not won in 6, we've had home and away draws against the team many consider to be the best they've seen this season. We've also had a derby draw and an away draw in the 1st game after Clyde sacked their gaffer. On the face of it, 4 not bad results.
Throw in the defeat away to Berwick with the debatable Danny red card and that leaves the home defeat to Edinburgh as the one terrible result for a team at the top of the league.

Totally. Three sendings off in there, the Denholm one was massive, would have fancied us at Clyde with eleven still on the park also. We never EVER play well against Montrose and how many chances did we have against Edinburgh to kill the game?

We need to keep the heed.
