The Peterheid Brechin Day Oot

Recommended Posts

We all got soaked watching Caldwell's glorious hat trick the last time so hopefully the rain will stay off today.  Trouten and Smith are the only injuries so almost a full squad to chose from. We just have to carry on where we left off a couple of weeks ago .  Quietly confident especially with Rory in the pub with the lads today.

We might get a clear out then. Fingers crossed anyway.

I always maintained that should have happened at the end of last season as McInally had taken them as far as he could and new direction and new blood was required - not stop gap loan players. Well at least in Division 2, a new manager will get a fresh start to put his stamp on the team and build it up for promotion.

Rather scrappy game but thought we deserved it. Was convinced Peterhead were about to take the lead in the first half but brilliant tackles to prevent it. That said, great top corner save to stop us scoring beforehand. Probably should have been 2-0 to us in the end but let's not get greedy. Rather happy with back wins for some breathing space. :D

Another good result which allows us to focus on pushing for the top 4 as opposed to looking over our shoulder at the other end of the table.

Good to see continue with the 4-2-3-1 formation, I think this best suits the players we have and Finn Graham is thriving in a more advanced position. Fusco has come in and has been terrific in defensive midfield.

Peterhead looked toothless upfront without McAllister.

Big game on Tuesday against Airdrie. Hopefully we can get another positive result.

Think every team from Alloa down are probably looking over shoulders, although your win /ours/ as well as Stenny losing might just ease the pressure on the chasers at the top. How are east fife able to do so well against Livingston? Always enjoy trips to Brechin regardless of scores . It could be a cracker . Pitch ok for the game?

For some reason the manager decided to start our other two strikers on the bench.

Things are really starting to look grim for us.

Why start playing players in their position?

I was actually just thinking about how many players have actually played for us this year, it must be over 2 dozen. And a different back 4 every game, what could go wrong?
