Will take the point given how poor we were 2nd half. Scullion much improved and McKinlay was solid at left back. Murrell gave us another outlet going forward and was really unlucky not to make 3-2.

Two really poor goals to concede, first one McKirdy tries way to hard to overplay it leading to a free cross to Riordan. Verlaque just needs to boot the ball to f**k for the second, simple.

Improvement from Cowden but still need to be better for Arbroath on Saturday.

No one will be happy with that result - the Lilywhites fail to catch the Tweedsiders, the latter fail to pull five clear, & for the Blue Brazil it means those above them pull another point clear with remaining games fast running out.

Both sides second goals were embarrassing to watch.

Good result for us. We now have a game in hand again over City and Berwick. Game in hand against Clyde.

If we beat Montrose and Clyde and Saturday's results go in our favour, we will be one point behind Clyde and City and three behind Berwick by next Tuesday night.

I thought our second goal was a good display of alertness by Dougie, Mr Hansen....

If they don't beat Montrose, if they don't beat Clyde, if results don't go their way, They'll probably be playing your lot at the Crosshill Playing fields near Lochgelly

ps we still miss you

Far too many changes yet again. Been following City for a few weeks now and never had a stable team. Beattie was crap ladt night as was Walker and Riordan scored but that's about all. Getting beat on saturday then changed team and won so why not play same team. Heard comments in stands about pandering to select few and manager has his favourites. Have to agree as some need a real shake. Caddow Guthrie Dunn dropped from winning line up at weekend and I also note that formation has changed. Overheard a player saying that never happened earlier so why now and lot of pissed off people.

I appreciate I've only seen City 3 times this season, and can't really comment on how individual players have gotten on, but surely having a different line up for a game away to the league leaders and a game at home to a similarly positioned side isn't too unexpected?

7 points out of 9 in the last 3 games and you are having a go at everyone apart from the kit man,

Players could be carrying injuries, maybe the reason for changes in the team, what formation is the manager playing ? maybe the manager is playing experienced players in the hope that they keep the team in the league, Riordan has came in and scored 2 and has 1 assist, not a bad start for his 1st 2 games, wouldn't surprise me if the manager goes with the same team again at Clyde.

Good shift from Lewis Allan in last couple of games as well, Beattie puts himself about but as you can see his legs are about to give up on him due to past injuries in his career, but his experience gets him through games.

Think you are being very harsh on the manager who has changed things about in the last 3 games and got decent results, better defending from City for the 2nd goal last night would have seen another 3 points.

Listening to supporters round me last night it appears to be an issue all season and Beattie has all of a sudden appeared since Riordan appeared. Yes it is all about winning and yes they have got points but they could have and should have more which a settled team would bring. Dont belive players are injured as they are in and out like yoyo's apparently.

Was Beattie on the bench against Cowdenbeath ? the guy has just come back from injury and played in the last 2 games, City have other injuries in the striking department, think that was the reason for bringing in Riordan a few weeks ago on a short term deal until end of the season and at that time Beattie was out injured as well, so far Riordan's return has been good for what he was brought in to do, you seem to be relying on what supporters around are saying rather than seeing that in the last few games City have won 2 and drawn the other, which is decent form at this time in the season to stay in this league.

Beattie wasn't on the bench v Cowden.

Cheers, thought that anyway, so you have to presume that he was not match fit for that game and with a few other strikers out injured at that time City made the decision to bring Riordan in to help them get goals and help City stay in this league, it would seem the poster is not happy that City have gave had a good wee run since Beattie & Riordan have come into the team.
